After another vacation to the UK it was nice to just to be back in our favourite restaurant. the food is out of this world and the servers are awesome, it just feels like home. not cheap but well worth it thank you for just being you guys, you will always be No1 in our eyes. Erin x
Celebrating our son’s doctoral graduation we were fortunate enough to get reservations at this wildly popular MSU restaurant. We enjoyed a great experience beginning with a warm welcome, congratulations and a very friendly, efficient, and enthusiastic server. We found the bar list really interesting. Nice mock tails, well-prepared mixed drinks, and an extensive and affordable wine list. Our meals were great! The kitchen was accommodating, putting many condiments “on the side”. Two of us are vegan and enjoyed creative and tasty options. The State Room is known for its burgers and it did not disappointment! Do save room for dessert, but plan on sharing these very generously-sized sweet treats. Hands down the best meal we have had in East Lansing !

Lunch is currently buffet, but a very high class buffet. The menu changes daily and is very good. Lots of variety and flavor.Price is extremely affordable. Especially for MSU students and staff.
Service, meal(lamb chops) were great. Arepas appetizer left much to be desired. Dessert great!
Their Valentines dinner was amazing and the optional wine pairings were perfect. The staff were attentive and friendly. It was a beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable date night for my me and my husband.

Thursday night is 1/2 off wine night. They have the largest wine menu in Michigan.Get an Uber or room and order 2 bottles.The food is good too. But the wine is worth the drive.
A group of 6 of us had dinner. Reservation was easy. Waitress was a true joy. Great personality and fun. Very thoughtful and she paid attention to details. Food was very good. I had a large Caesar salad with salmon. Full of flavor! Three of the people got the filet. Looked very good. I also got the potato and corn chowder. Excellent! Will definitely go back!
