I wish I could give 0-stars. There is nothing ROYAL about this place. All they can do is ROYALLY F-up your dining experience. Worst place you will ever eat or try to eat if you can. Food wise, incredibly greasy and tasteless. Though I don’t know if this is authentic cuisine. Nonetheless, Staff members do NOT know how to serve customers. Make sure you know the language they speak, otherwise prepare to have a very hard time communicating what you want. Incredibly rude. Got a wrong dish, was asked to remember the dish name next time to order it right.Also, apparently they have a service charge sticker at the entrance which means they can add service charge or tip themselves, so even though you get worst service you still have to pay tip. And if you refuse to pay tip, the “Manager” will threaten to sue you and call the cops.
They have a sauce bar where you can make your own sauces and instructions on how to make some that they recommend. The waiter that was serving us was super nice and explained to us how everything worked in case we didn't know. They have a lot of hot pot items on their menu. I got the black chicken soup and that was good.
Came in with the fam and dine-in. Great experience overall. Atmosphere oozes culture with bamboo arches and traditional looking chairs (Not a big fan of them tho). Staff were attentive and nice. The food selection was great with many to choose from. The hotpot in particular is the royal jewel. Bear and mildly spicy broth with the variety of meats made the whole evening a thrilling experience. 9/10 Would come again.
First time. Great experience and patient servers. Authentic Chinese foods in here. Tried spicy chicken and dry pot and tasted so good. Looking forward to come again!
Lovely place. Very friendly staff. We ordered customized Dry pot and it was flavorful and spicy. We also ordered chicken with chili sauce. It was delicious. If you guys come to royal pot I really recommend these two order.
They are so helpful for people who have never been there. We messed up like 5 sheets of paper for ordering and our waiter did it for us and made so many good suggestions. The food was super good. Will go again and Iv been to Hot Pot all over, even in new york and this place is so good. 10 outta 10 would recommend
Last time me and my friend went here to get hotpot. that was extremely delicious, traditional soup base remind me the lovely childhood in Sichuan. you can even customize your own dipping sauces right here, their waiter guided me about how to make a suitable sauce for specific soup base. the experience at royal pot always bring me back to my homeland. BTW, their waiter are really kind.
Insanely good food with a huge range of options. I recommend the spicy broth and the assorted mushrooms because you get an insane amount of mushrooms. It is a perfect place to go with friends and share. You get a lot of each ingredient for dipping so I recommend going with a lot of people so you can get more things to try. Make sure to use the sauce bar to your advantage, too!
This was our first experience with hot pots. Our waitstaff was AWESOME. She helped us order and had alot of patience with questions. The food was fantastic.
This was easily the best meal I’ve ever had. The food was all fresh and beautiful and the broth for the hot pot was delicious! Will definitely be making this place our regular spot for nights out!
