UPDATE. I was contacted by management and they made good on their promised refund. I appreciate the follow up, although I wish it hadn’t taken a poor review to prompt the follow up. Thank you to Pizza House. We will be giving you another chance. Ordered a small cheese regular crust and a small cheese thin crust pizza for pickup on June 4th. The regular crust pizza was undercooked. The thin crust over cooked. Both were inedible. I called to let the manager know. He seemed upset over our experience and offered to give me $14 back on my $28 bill. Then, to my amazement, he offered to give me a $30 credit because he wanted to keep my business. Tonight (June 17) I returned to order a medium thin crust double cheese for pickup. The crust was still not great. There were pepperonis under the cheese—good thing I’m not a vegetarian! The worse thing is I discovered the manager lied. I never received half off the June 4th bill. Nor did I receive a $30 credit to ensure I remain a loyal customer. My husband and I have been customers for years. I can put up a pizza here and there, but I won’t go back to a place where they lie to me.

An unusual poor-service issue recently ....We almost always have good experiences at Pizza House, but we ran into a disinterested - maybe passive-aggressive? - server who seemed like he would have been happier anywhere else on the planet. It wasn't busy, and there were plenty of servers working.First, our annoyed waiter said the only way to find out what's on tap is to scan the QR code in the menu, which did not match the current draft list. (But the next time we were in, our new server cheerfully read us the current taps off her handheld device and warned us that the QR-generated list is often out of date.)When we asked about 8-oz. drafts, our perturbed server firmly insisted that Pizza House "does not and never has" served 8-oz. beers.(But we've quaffed many 8-ouncers before and since...In fact, the next time we visited, our new server read the available 8-oz. brews right off her handheld and brought us a couple, which - surprise! - had been poured by our unsmiling waiter himself, as he was tending bar that day. ?)Finally, our dour waiter took only one guest's order for one item at a time, requiring multiple stops (spaced well apart) just to get our water, food, and drink orders in. The result was that we wound up dining in shifts. All in all, we were very underwhelmed.1 star for that visit, but 5 otherwise.

Decent food...I'm sure it would be enjoyable for those that like spaghetti sauce on their pizza, which I do not. I also feel that it was way over priced. $42 for a large stuffed pizza and $14 for 6 pieces of Texas toast garlic bread (which honestly didn't taste much different than the boxed stuff you get from the frozen food section at Walmart).

Good food quick service and decent drinks. Had a hummer from the bar, was a little weak but darn good! The house special pizza is the way to go! Ask for Abby! That's the server to have! Did an amazing job!

Ordered take out. Was greeted by a young lady that couldn’t look up from her phone to care what I was saying. Sent to the bar. Paid 65 dollars for 2 crap pizzas and some bread sticks. Never again.

Our server was fantastic. Attentive and pleasant. The food was over priced. I got the corned beef sandwich. For $19, I expect a massive sandwich. It was disappointing, and the fries were cold. $20 for a black and blue cheese burger?.

At first I was a little annoyed I spent so much money ….. but the food wasssss soooo worth it. Everything was amazing

Pizza House is a staple in East Lansing. The food is pretty good, the portions match the prices (more than you would expect) and it offers things that you won't find elsewhere locally (such as Chicago Style Deep Dish and Chicago Style Red Hots).I don't go frequently because of the prices, but every once in a great while it is good to go there and enjoy it. Prepare to take food home with you.

I have been eating at Pizza House since they opened. That last few times the pizza has been flavorless. I ordered a Chicago Stuffed with no toppings as I want the flavor of just the pizza. Got there, paid for pizza and was told is would be another 3-4 minutes - after waiting 4 minutes the person behind the bar looked again at boxes on pick-up shelves, took one of the box back to the kitchen, 3 minutes later he brought the same sized box out and handed it to me. Got home and the pizza sauce had no tanginess just blandness to the pizza sauce, the crust seemed as though it didn't rise properly and was compact and hard. Quality and taste has really fallen off. I ordered a plain deep dish pizza from Jet's Pizza on Vine St in Lansing last week and for about half the cost I got a much more flavorful pizza that also had crust that had risen properly and cut easily with a knife. Typically love to have leftovers the next day, but rest of pizza went into the trash.

Food was fast and delicious, can't beat the variety. They are one of the few places around to get a solid meal after 9 or 10 pm so that's a bonus as well. The booth we sat at wasn't cleaned so not great but not too big of a deal and was over all a good experience
