We had such a great time! The girl that was helping us gave soo many great suggestions and we took every single one. The sandwich and chicken bites were amazing! The sweet potato fries were the perfect combo of filling and crispy. Highly recommend going we will definitely be back the next time we’re near there!!

Extremely rude management. The owner had a weird power trip when I called to ask for menus so I could hand them out to residents at an apartment property I work for to help their business since I loved this restaurant so much and wanted to promote them to our future residents, and instead of politely declining my offer, I was angrily lectured at by the owner for how much money it costs for them to give me menus and then was hung up on? I can’t imagine that their business is going to run smoothly if this is how they handle their customer service. I will not be returning and neither will any of my colleagues / friends / residents at our property for their lack of professionalism for what I can only imagine would have costed the owner less than $50 of printing out menus or flyers to promote them. The worst part is, the assistant manager was extremely kind and the one who offered to help promote their business to our residents. I would have loved to help you guys get more business, but after this experience I will be doing the opposite. Management needs to figure out where their priorities lie and treat locals more kindly if they want to stay afloat! Best of luck to you guys.

Terrible strawberry milk. Tasted like milk with some strawberry purée and some ice. I could’ve made that at home. White peach Oolong was very basic. The thing about their tea is that they don’t chill their tea before preparing it so it’s already watered down when you get it (hot tea melts ice). Not a fan. Match crepe was also terrible for $5.95. So many better options in the area for milk tea.

Walking into Koala I knew that I would receive outstanding service. From the first interaction I experienced kindness and compassion. The cashier gave me a discount because I was a first-time customer. The boba and my cake was prepared very quickly and tasted amazing. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Before they opened the branch, it used to be a good store, at the least it had relatively good quality teas and foods in east lansing. However, after they have a branch store, their full size cakes are getting shorter and shorter, fresh whipping cream tastes sour, and the Taiwanese fried chicken which should be using dark meat, are now using unideal marinated white meat. The tiger skin cake I ordered today, disregarding its shorter size, the \\\"tiger skin\\\" part is burned and tastes sour, and it is not the first time. I can understand if they had lower quality food during busy seasons, but I cannot stand continuous bad food at any time. I will never buy anything from them again.

I adore this place. The customer service there is always amazing, and the quality of their drinks is equally so. I have yet to try their food, but it looks incredible. Along with all their fresh desserts and baked goods? 100% would recommend to friends and family

A very nice place to hang out, great teas amd a very impressive variety of baked goods and food, I can't wait to come try more things.

Was incredibly disappointed with my dessert and tea. Normally I quite enjoy milk tea as I tend to get it every day as a treat while studying, but the tea I purchased yesterday was disgusting and powdery. Don’t even get me started on the dessert. Koala Bakery & Cafe just can’t compete with Koala Tea & Coffee.

The dessert case is always gorgeous and filled with a variety of tasty cakes and pies, and they have an equally impressive variety of bubble teas! Today I tried their food for the first time. On a day that nothing sounded good to eat, I went to Koala and got a rice bowl. It was just what I needed! Flavorful and lightly sauced, nothing beats a pile of veggies and meat over fluffy white rice. Thank you for offering such good food!

This is an amazing place! We love the teas and staff. I take my daughter here for popping boba and the staff and owner have always been friendly and helpful. The deserts and food are great as well! They even have moon cakes during the Chinese New Year that are homemade. I highly recommend. My favorite drink is brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba.
