I ordered a whiskey sour and a Famous Chrunchys Burger. The only sour I got was the attitude I received from the waitress there (short, stocky, thick eyeliner, hair faded on the sides). Perhaps it was my pigment that upset her -- hard to tell, but even just asking about the specials they have and what the "Famous Crunchys Burger" was, she found upsetting.In particular, the menu said "Hospitality night" which I read as "hospital night", and she rolled her eyes and snapped with the most disgusting attitude that even my friends made a comment after the exchange.Foodwise, the burger was good but the fries could use some work. Ambience wise, it's very student-bar grunge feel, which means not the cleanest area to grab a bite.Overall, there's better options in the area (with way better service), so when it comes Chrunchys, I recommend a SKIP. (Especially if you look anything like me -- if you get my drift -- doesn't appear some of us are welcome here)Update: ?took off an additional star for the hostile response I got from the manager or whoever responds to the reviews. He dared me to send an email, which I did, and I received no response. However it's looks like they deleted the review reply after realizing how they came across. Yep... Definitely not a great spot to visit.
Very busy, went on a Saturday night in April. We had a group of 10 so the wait was over an hour. But we walked around to other bars while we waited, so we didn't mind. Had a Long Island mug, was happy with the price. Others in my group got the beer buckets. I ordered mini corn dogs and breadsticks for an appetizer, thinking it would be small. But the portion was enough to be a meal and a half. Which I was fine with because I was hungry and wanted to be able to drink more later. So I stuffed myself with carbs. Was very happy with the food, delicious. Server was great and fast. Atmosphere seemed very upbeat. We weren't able to stay for karaoke, the other half of our group did though and I heard it was a great time. Definitely suggest going to Crunchys.
I and my BFF were in town to catch the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Spartan Dischords and found this wonderful spot by chance. Easy access to the Hannah. It was busy but we were seated in minutes, staff was very friendly and put up with our banter. The food was incredible with so many choices from salads to burgers, steaks to Sammies and everything in-between. Menu is online so be prepared to scan that square squiggly thing and check out all the drink options. We happened to sit next to a group of Dischord performers and had a great time!! Best part ~ they serve TOTS!!!
Great EL burger bar. Try Shorts Local Light. Six good pinball machines.

Worst restaurant by far service sucked meanu was on line only no actual meanu and selection was very disappointing not lot to choose from food is way over priced for what you get I walked out with out getting anything very disappointing
This place does not live up to the hype. I’ve ate here a few times over the past 20+ years. It’s not bad, it’s just not the kind of burger that makes you want to go back for more. Friendly service. Maybe I’ll try something else on the menu several years down the road.
