I have been to this place on two different occasions. Once for a friends birthday party and we order the bird special for our party. It included chicken and waffles, eggs, churros and grits I believe. We had to share this food along with two Mamosa towers. The party environment is definitely lively and represents a club and a hookah bar together. Music is live and plenty of space to dance. (Photos 1/2)More recently, I visited for another birthday party but ordered from the menu. I prefer this method of ordering. I got the fried catfish and grits w onions and peppers. It was DELICIOUS!! The grits were cheesy and the fish cooked perfectly. To drink I had a Hennessy and lemonade which was a bit expensive. (Photo 3)
I recently moved to Detroit, My friends took me out clubbing & introduced Trust to me. My experience was a 10/10. It’s such a fun environment!! You can book booths with Trust for birthdays, Sunday brunch, etc. I recommend Trust for a good night out.
Yesterday came to celebrate my bff birthday and friend's bar exam passing and it was elegant and litty all at the same time. Food was amazing, service was on point and the vibes from DJ including those who were celebrating around us was just dope! I am definitely coming back maybe for my own celebration in the near future. Check them out!
I celebrated my birthday here recently and had the best time! The staff is friendly and the ambiance of the venue is so welcoming. The food is also really good, their truffle fries are a favorite.
Sunday brunch was great. Drinks with One of the best bartenders in the city he took real good care of us. @ritovillareal. We most definitely will be back see you. Recommend his service area. Topnotch
amazing time and people highly recommend
Great environment awesome club
The worst reservation experience I have ever had! The reservation process is extensive and still proves to disappoint. Riddle me this, what nightclub venue allows you to place a reservation, requires you to pay a deposit on the reservation, only for you to arrive and the reservation is at the PHYSICAL BAR? I have never been so embarrassed and disappointed in my life. Mind you, I calmly and politely spoke with management to try to find a solution and I was met with a snarky and unpleasant attitude. The premise of the response I received was that they had been overbooked for X amount of weeks; although my paid reservation had been placed since FEBRUARY. If my opinion isn’t enough, on the way out, the valet person heard my frustration and communicated how they too were frustrated with management and had already submitted their two weeks notice. Don’t waste your time here reserving anything, it’s most likely a waste of time.Furthermore, to the manager that will most likely respond to this posting, I hope that you consider taking a communication course or revisit training as it relates to management; your customer service lacks humility and problem solving etiquette. In addition, please explore improving the reservation process and updating the communication script as it does not serve well when expressing the TRUE requirement of party size to seat assignment. The venue is too beautiful for such a grim organizational structure. I am still trying to find the logic and or rationale behind placing a reservation at a physical bar in a nightclub; so far, what I can understand is that money is the driver… how shallow, to say the LEAST.3/15/22 Update to owner’s response: I get it, you want to save face on the review.. but lying is not necessary. I arrived within the specified window and your hosts and or security can confirm that. When I spoke with the rude manager that many of the other Google reviews reference, she told me that they would never sit a party of 2 at a booth regardless of the specified reservation, which should have been communicated within the initial reservation process and definitely prior to the deposit being taken. It is still preposterous to allow someone to make a reservation, pay a deposit, and assign for them to sit at a physical bar in a nightclub. While we are still on this topic, the issue I highlighted still remains the same and you have proven my review of the reservation process to be true. As an additional tip to you and or management, a portion of being an owner is taking OWNERSHIP of your wrongdoing and when you have fallen short of delivering adequate customer service. Furthermore, it does not matter if the valet is a third party service or not, they are a part of your establishment, serving as the FIRST point of contact for customers and the valet person had negative reviews of the organizational/management structure too. There is still truth to all portions of my earlier review as well, see the additional negative reviews from other people regarding Trust across different platforms. The dismissiveness to concerns and abrasive way of speaking to customers is common and disappointing; good luck remaining in business with this method and behavior. Arrogance, abrasiveness, and demeaning behavior NEVER gets anyone far and poor customer service doesn’t allow any establishment in downtown Detroit to last long, but you would know that because that venue was called something else prior to the transition to Trust ?.
Super rude staff with the exception of one security guard. Let me clarify... I understand the $20 cover but then you a few expected to take your jacket off (even if it’s part of your outfit) for $3 charge and you are forced to take it off. By far one of the rudest set of staff and worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. We literally had no where to go and left after 20 minutes it was that terrible.
Me and my girlfriends had a wonderful time here when we went. Amazing atmosphere - very upscale and trendy. The DJ was on point. The small bites are great for your table if you want something to snack on. Both the waitresses and bartenders were very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend Trust. We will be back
