Diamond and all the other women in there need to be fired just close the store down they don’t care about the quality of food or the business reputation
During the Presidents’ Day Volleyball tournament at Huntington Place, my one smoothie and one wrap order took over twenty minutes making me late for my daughters game. After I politely reminded the extremely rude staff I hadn’t yet received my order, I was hastily given the worst quality smoothie I’ve literally ever had. It was almost entirely ice with maybe a strawberry. I won’t be returning.
The bottom of my smoothie container just.. broke open.Everything spilled out of the container from the bottom. Idk why they spill out from the cup holder the way that they did. Not only did i not get to enjoy one drink but TWO. The new drink container tops that they use do not stay on securely AT ALL. My entire bag was filled with both smoothies. Im mad I wasted my money on this. Couldn't even enjoy my food.I want a refund for my drinks.
The smoothies are great and the food isn’t bad. The only thing right now is inconsistent customer service. The franchise owner might want to invest more in training the staff on how to greet and operate with customers. That’s lacking. But I enjoy the food and smoothies every time.

Smoothies were good but took 15 min to make to many playful kids working not about business
I placed an order online with this company and was highly disappointed that they forgot to prepare both of my smoothies (which I was looking forward to more than the food). My wrap was prepared well, except the lettuce was wilted and not very tasty. My delivery driver said the young ladies were live streaming on social media and not paying attention to the orders, and only gave him the food and not the beverages. It has been over a year since the pandemic began, and everyone should have all of their kinks and mistakes managed by this point when it comes to online orders. I am really disappointed to leave this review because I love tropical smoothie cafe, and this is the only location in Detroit. Hopefully, the next time I try you all again, you can sway this to a 5 star rating.
Great customer service and smoothies. Employees here are really understanding and go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your experience. I recommend visiting if you want good smoothies and exceptional service!
I went to this location today for two smoothies and a sandwich. First all the employees were just like having fun and being on their phones. Second they gave my sandwich to someone else and had to wait even more time to get it. It’s just a mess.
