I have had vegan burgers all across the country. This one right here is the best vegan burger I’ve ever had. Detroit’s food always reminds me why I love coming back home.

I finally got to try Trap Vegan today. The Soul Survivor burger and curly fries were delicious. The service was great, too.
Ordered cauliflower bites, burger and salad. Burger was flavorful, salad was super fresh, restaurant environment was a nice vibe, good music, super clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Wasnt a fan of the cauliflower bites, but the sauce that went with it was good. They have an extensive vegan menu. Like that it is a black owned business, definitely will visit again.
Amazing food! What's Beef burger had crispy bun. Burger was so juicy and meat-like. Great flavor to toppings!
Ok, so I'm TRAPPED! Several friends suggested that I try them and I'm so glad they did. Jas took my order, was very friendly, and gave great suggestions. Ordered Loaded Nachos, Deep fried Spicy Garlic Cauliflower, Acai Swirl swapping out banana for pineapple, & sweet potatoe Cheesecake. Listen Linda... everything was so good! Love the location, look, and atmosphere was inviting. Only one small suggestion - to prehaps serve the Nacho chips on the side or prepare/package last, while the toppings were amazing the chips got a little too soft for my taste while waiting for the rest of my order. Overall definitely coming back and recommend you do the same. To all my foodies out there - You're welcome.
My husband and I ordered two D.Boy burgers, curly fries and sweet tea along with the sweet potato cheesecake. Very good! I am a long term vegan and always hunting for burgers as it was my favorite food before. I was late picking up so it was a bit cold and it STILL was really tasty. The bun is nice and slightly sweet (in the best way) and the patties didn't have that mushy mouth feel a lot of vegan burgers do. And man, I could eat a whole plate of the sweet potato cheesecake. Beautiful flavor with an amazing crust. Definitely give this place a shot if you're on the fence for some reason!
I'm not a vegan but wanted to give the establishment a try and I can honestly say, I was very pleased with what I had chosen. I've tried jack fruit as a fruit and loved it. So my husband and I decided to give the Jack Fruit BBQ burger a try. The texter, the taste and flavor of the BBQ Jack Fruit Burger was great. I tried to take my time eating the burger, but it was so good i felt it hard to put down. ? The sweet potato fries were so good.The service was also good. We had a little hiccup with our order. However, the cashier was very apologetic and made it right and for that I give them 5 stars.
Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had (vegan or not). But not only is the food incredible, the service is top level. The smoothies are fresh, and again the burger is insane. If you're even thinking of going please go!!
definitely recommend. everything was delicious the "Detroit hottie" smoothie was the best I've ever had hands down. will be visiting again.
