Great friendly Bar service and food
Incredible service, amazing venue.
Had lunch here with 3 other people. We tried 2 appetizers and 4 entrees. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere is very cool, but no one loved their food. It was so-so and the menu was very limited for entrees. Lunch for 4 was over $150 pre-tip with no drinks or desserts. Worth noting, desserts are $15-20 apiece.
This place is for sure a must try on your list!!!We took 3 of our server’s recommendations and we loved it!!!!The menu can be hard to understand if you’ve never been before so don’t feel bad if you need explaining. We had to get our server to break it down for us. And we had someone at the bar who was training to be a server - who by the way was FANTASTIC!!! - and gave us the411 on the dishes and what was what. The dishes were Amazing!!!! Every single one of them!!!! We had such a great time. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great service. Great place.I hope to come back next time I’m in Detroit.
The atmosphere and drinks were great, I definitely go back for a drink. The food however was very lacking. The burger tho it looked great, tasted like it didn't even know what seasoning or flavor was. It was so devoid of like any flavor that it was like it was from a universe in which flavor did not exist. I was greatly displeased with my meal and would not be willing to risk a chance on anything else on the menu if they can get a burger right.
We had an awesome experience… we will definitely be back, the manager Courtney was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu and friendly as was Nicole our server. I have told friends and family to go there… Diane Jolly
Service was terrible. We waited 30 mins past our reservation time to be seated. Food wasn't brought out very timely and our bill took forever. We were there for 3.5 hours total. Very disappointing.
Fantastic atmosphere with great food and our waitress Sydney was gracious! My husband loved his burger and my salmon was perfect! We already plan on returning soon.
First time back since the renovations/menu change and let me say, these 2stars are very generous and are given mainly for the newly interior design, because it sure isn’t for the food. Starting with the small plate appetizers: price does not match portions or quality. If you wanted bougie lays chips, dipped in french onion for $16+ you’d love it, however, i would just go to 7 Eleven for less and better taste. The mushrooms are definitely an acquired taste, not like your traditional mushrooms you’d expect. Their toasted bread was actually my favorite app, had olive oil with a smokey taste. For the meal: My boyfriend ordered the salmon (maybe 3oz) and oh my. it could’ve been served for 6 year old, he’s 6’7, so you can imagine the disappointment. He did say it was pretty good.. no more or less. I ordered the lobster, and i can’t describe my disappointment, it was so bland and very chewy, at some point i found myself only eating it because of how hungry I still was. It’s almost like this restaurant is trying so hard to be overly fancy (when it was not prior) and aggressively trying to project to a certain demographic.. All i wanted was their original menu/ambiance, which they’re known for and thrived at. Leaving the restaurant the highlights of the night were my drink (gin + juice) and the waiter, she was great!
Attentive waiters, nice atmosphere. The meal was honestly very good. The beef was very tender and flavorful, and the fries fresh. The Julia dessert super delicious as well. Would return and would most certainly recommend.
