Terrible batter on the chicken wings and shrimp. My yams were so stringy I couldn't eat them. Very disappointed today. I use to like the food.

I've been going to the Original Waves Inn since around January 2022. The Original Waves Inn have good food and their kitchen area is clean. Due to they having good food and having a clean kitchen, I travel from the Schaefer & the West Eight Mile area, passing by many other fish places, just to patronize the Original Waves Inn. Again, the Original Waves Inn have good food and a clean kitchen.
I absolutely love this place. Food has aways been fresh. Shrimp is always a must. Bang for your buck. The only thing is the hours. Very short
Really good food. I bring my sister here every time she comes home from Vegas. The best Catfish in Michigan! The Catfish pieces are huge, the potato salad is really good, my Mom loves the Spaghetti and the shrimp are big and cooked perfectly. You will be in for a real treat if you're going here to eat. It NEVER disappoints.
The best fish in the city. They need to change their tarter sauce though, it tastes horrible.
Perch was not seasoned well on this visit. Restaurant does not take callin orders after 7pm.

4 stars only because there is always room for improvement. Fresh fish seasoned perfectly and the banana pudding is great. Clean facility, friendly workers and fast service. This one goes on the list to revisit.
