While I understand phone calls can be overwhelming for a business at least answer to answer a question. The website to order online does not specify what sides (if any) come with plates. While on the menu it does state all lunch specials come with two sides it says nothing for anything else. Im sure customers wouldn’t like to place orders online not knowing specifically what they’re getting. LOVE the food here just a suggestion!
Today I was so disappointed. I use to love this spot! They gave my food to the wrong person, he ran out of the store to get it from the lady. He brought it back in the store and rebagged it. He than said “I’m sorry I had to have her make you another one”. Clearly he just put it in another bag. It wasn’t even a whole minute after he brought it back in before he handed me the order. Lied right to my face and than gave me a drink and cheese cake for free because he knew that wasn’t right. I was so disgusted and disappointed. I didn’t even ask for my money back, I won’t be going back there again. Waste of money because I know they opened the container outside and gave me the same one! Gave it to the homeless man before I got on the freeway.
Came here today, food was fresh and so good! I get jerk and bbq chicken. The workers were friendly and I only waited 10 mins for 5 orders of food. The sweet potato brownie was delicious
I have decided to no longer be a patron at this establishment as they don't give a consistent amount of food in their cartons even though the cost of the meal remains the same and doesn't change with the amount of food they give. The food they give goes from sufficient to barren but never is it abundant, particularly when it comes to the sides (plantains) Also, last time I went I was told I wouldn't be refunded for food they were out of that I ordered on their platform. Customer service is lacking.
Great food, I mean great!!! Best Jamaican in Detroit in my opinion however the service lacks, unfortunately. I write this hoping the feedback gets to management. Please answer the phone. Please prepare call ahead and online orders ahead of time and not when the person arrives anyway. A lot of missed business when that phone isn’t answered and last night I was going to come; I would have arrived 15 minutes before closing. I called no answer. I chose not to risk being told some bs upon arrival and not being served so I went somewhere else. Somewhere with better service but not as good food….. please help us have good Jamaican more often.
Had lunch there for the first time yesterday and the mini meals for lunch were delicious! It was just enough food to get a good taste of the food on the menu. I ordered curry and bbq chicken lunch specials. Can't wait to try something else on the menu.

Last time it was perfect and fresh this time it's clearly reheated. If youre going to reheat at least heat the food evenly & stir. My cabbage is cold in the center and mushy and the plantains are SOGGY. Jerk chicken is Luke warm I'm so dissapointed Its 1:36pm Jan 27 22. Your food cost too much for the quality to be inconsistent.
Food is normally good but they have done what all failing decent food places do. Cut down portion size. I ordered a large oxtail and when I got it I had to ask was this a large. Kids plate for $20. I will not be back when I know other places food as good but portions way better. Keep your money and go elsewhere.
Ordered the Curry Chicken in large size. Curry Chicken was over a bed of red beans and rice. The food was delicious. I'm just mad because I only received 4 slices of plantain and a spoon full of cabbage. I paid $11.65. Customer service was delightful...they even had sample of soup. Just do better by the portions. Give 6 plantain instead of 4 and an extra scoop of cabbage. Cheers
