I don’t know why all of the positive reviews here. TLDR - The place is pretty cute. The food is mediocre. Not authentic at all. Korean theme, K-pop playing on TV, but that’s where the Korean influence ends. Sushi chefs are not Japanese or Korean or sushi chefs for that matter at all. We waited for over 45 minutes with a mostly empty restaurant for our 2 rolls. There were ~5 small orders ahead of us. After rolls finally arrived, we had to ask for soy sauce, wasabi and soy sauce bowl. Rolls were OK, very average, a far cry from me the best. I really don’t understand the theme of the restaurant at all - it’s not Japanese, not Korean, what does it have to do with “goblin” and the branding makes no sense at all.

Great place, great food! The staff was all extremely friendly, definitely worth checking out!

This place is charming and the food is excellent.

Best sushi place ever!!! The owners are super nice

Great bowls and signature sushi. Nice selection of sake/soju canned drinks. Kawai environment. Plays K-pop on the big screen. Limited seating. And… well… the rice in the basic rolls need more rice seasoning. But overall i keep going back!

Loved the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant the cheff s were so friendly and made the food so beautiful. My cashier on the other hand not so friendly or informative for being my first time. Will have to try the again maybe next time she'll be more interactive and possibly friendly

I love the cleanliness and purity of the place as well as the sushi is fabulous

Just had the most amazing meal! The Goblin is so clean, bright and welcoming. My son said the edamame is addicting. I had the (pictured) crab salad bowl and every single bite was unbelievable. I don’t know if I can go anywhere else for sushi in the future!!! 5 stars for sure

Really love having a new(er) option for sushi in the city that is actually tasty. They are not reinventing the wheel, but its well made and fresh tasting. My only issue is turn the lights down!!!!! Nobody wants to be in a bright white restaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night. Lighting is so important and it really killed the mood.

The food is amazing!!!!! The staff is great!!! I ordered online in the morning and set my pick uptime for the 4:45. I was two hours late and the staff remade my entire order fresh right there. I feel bad because I was involved in an intense phone conversation and did not get to thank them properly. If you are in the mood for good sushi, great vibes and kind people this is the spot for you. Definitely coming back but will end all phone conversations prior to entering lol .
