If ever there was a neighborhood coffee shop for you to frequent The Gathering checks the boxes. Cutesy, artsy, and aesthetically pleasing - Emily and her team always take an interest in everyone's story. The Gathering is truly a neighbors serving neighbors kinda business.
This place is so welcoming. The owner Emily greats you with a great smile and a bundle of energy. I like my Mountain Range extra hot with light sweetener which she has remembered since my first visit. It is so great to see young entrepreneurs taking risks. Swing by and support this great local gem.

Lovely space that’s drenched in natural light. While I was just stopping in between errands, I plan on coming by on a WFH day to take in the pretty interior with a good latte
A delightful and peaceful space. High ceilings, lots of natural light, exposed brick and a concrete floor. Also, inside is a nice community table that I enjoy sitting at. The coffee and the staff are both A+. I like to stop in for an oat milk latte, which I always thoroughly enjoy!
The Gathering feels like home. The community hosts events here, every item on the menu is made with high quality and craftsmanship, and the customers keep coming back. This is a place that is intentionally for the people, and I cannot recommend it enough!!! Favorite items on the menu:Right Up to the Moon & A Mountain Range.
This space has become a home for so many Detroit locals and visitors alike. The atmosphere is so welcoming to all people. The baristas are personable and so kind! They remember my order every time I go! This is my coffee shop for sure.
I got the caramel latte and my brother got the vanilla latte, both were delicious! The coffee is very strong and delicious. 8/10 coffee, would come again.
Visited the morning after the Rolling Stones show at Ford Field. A warm place, with warm people and hot drinks in November!
