Though the food was good and the server, Shonda, was attentive, it took an hour to get our order and we only had two entree salads, a chicken sandwich and macaroni, items that shouldnât take an hour. The manager, Mr. Chapman, was rude, making excuses for how long the food took and walked away from us while we were still expressing our concerns. He did take off one item that was cooked incorrectly and discounted the overall bill, but he never returned to our table; He sent the server to us with the bill and never apologized. It had been about five years since I had dined at The Block (two other times) and the service was horrible those times as well. I went back last night thinking perhaps the restaurantâs kitchen and management had improved, but I was wrong. I will not be going back.
I have heard a lot of good reviews about the Block. Sunday was the first time I was able to go. It was great. The food was very good, great service. Nice and friendly staff. I loved that a live DJ was playing music. I look forward to coming back
Not sure if they changed owners or cooks, but the food was different then Iâm used to. Also our waitress was not very attentive, more than likely because of the 18% gratuity being charged. She barely came over and we had to keep getting the attention of the hostess or other wait staff to assist us. For a Saturday there were not many people there at all, so maybe others are starting to notice as well.
Great vibes. Great Food. I Recommend The Mango Margarita To Start Off With. Service Was Great. I Would Definitely Go Again For Brunch.
Service was good, we were seated right away, great music, food came fast and was hot, other than the gravy in the skillet being a little salty the food was very good.
It was great, appreciate the ladies that helped me arrange to ask her to be my girlfriend. Shoutout to the chef also.
I patronize the block pretty often and Customer Service is always great everyone is so pleasant and friendly!!!!
Not worth the price for the food. Maybe a good place to get a drink but not for dinner or lunch. Staff made us feel awkward and comfortable. Not a welcoming experience at all. Waitress had to go over our order multiple times. Iâm very understanding but to a point. It was just not worth it.
The food and service was great. Pretty quick and attentive service. Really enjoyed it and look forward to going back
