i’ve tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt but after a few bad experiences, specifically this last time, i won’t be going back. i went here this past monday, when we arrived there were only two other parties seated. our waitress took our order & seemed irritated that we had questions or weren’t ordering quick enough. i then had to ask for chips & salsa, which she never brought. then she disappeared! tables that arrived AFTER us received their food before us. after waiting 30 minutes i asked another waiter if she knew what happened to our order. someone other than our waitress then brought out our food 40+ minutes later. we never got utensils, we had to ask for a refill and my husband was missing a quesadilla he ordered. when i asked what the hell happened to our waitress, i was told she was busy outside. i would be more understanding had the restaurant been busy but when we got there only 4 other customers were in the entire restaurant.
First things first is I love wicho & his work in the food industry! I will always support him & his family, definitely great people! But business has been going down hill . Food isn’t the same anymore . LA Palapa , been here 3 times now & food has been pretty Alr . 2 days ago I came in w/ my bf & father in law . Service was terrible ! Waitress was literally the worst & I’m a manager at a restaurant & I’m very patient & very understanding. But this girl just seemed liked she didn’t care abt working nor attending us . We were very nice & considerate w/ her but she continued to forget abt almost everything we asked for , didn’t bring us water , didn’t bring us our appetizer until all the food came out , food was cold like if it was sitting on the window for awhile , fajitas were bland , my steak was literally all fat & chewy . My father In law orders the alambres and they were all veggies barely any meat or chicken . All our tortillas were cold as hell & when we wanted more napkins & refills she completely disappeared, not once did she come back after our food came out . I honestly believe she went on break or something bc she didn’t come back until we were all done & ready to pay .
Place is great! Manager was awesome and helped us pick our dinner and it was delicious! Can't wait till next time! Thankyou!!!
The ceviche needed lemon, and the queso was not what I expected.. but the carne asada tacos and the birra tacos were delicious with better quality meat; it had a lot of flavor. The salsas were also really good and spicy.
Food was good service was great cant wait to go back once the weather is warmer
Servers were friendly and food was good & hot but to long waiting for food especially if there were no other customers.

Estos son unos chilaquiles con huevo estrellado bien cocido y frijoles a lado, no la porquería que hizo el chef, cocinero o ayudante de cocinero que me tocó esta mañana, regresaré por el buen servicio y mi opción será la sopita de coditos cortesía del lugar, obvio no la hizo la misma persona q me preparo los chilaquiles ?
