i think these are the best I've ever had! they're so good! they may be thin but they're so good

Definitely not authentic. REAL Mexican tamales are 5x to 10x this size.. if you’re looking for flautas I guess come here, if you’re looking for real tamales go else where.

I love coming here! Makes me feel like I'm in mom's kitchen. The texture, the flavor, the greasiness from the manteca. How they just slide right out of the husk. Mmmmm. Just thinking of them my mouth starts to water. If you want a delicious, scrumptious tamal you have to check them out. Sure they ain't that big but they sure do make it up in the explosion of deliciousness you get in every single bite. Any time i come to southwest i have to come get a dozen.

They not what they used to be. They now use hamburger for beef tamales and very small. Not worth 15$ a dozen. Shredded beef should be used.

Familia. What a great place! Handmade (not machine made) tamales from a family business that embraces 4 generations of Susana's family. This is not a restaurant and it is not a store, but a Tamaleria, a place for the making of tamales. The tamales you get here are slightly more expensive than the machine-made ones you get at other places, but they are still very inexpensive and super tasty. The people who work here (at least all the ones I met) were extremely nice (yes, even you Susie) and took care of my order and everything else. I think my favorite thing was that on the day I was there an all-female mariachi band was playing across the street!

We made our annual Christmas Tamale Run. 10 dozen, hot sauce and social distanced. Always the best tamales in the area!

Very small tamales ,about 2 fingers thick, definitely worth the 15dollars per dozen, flavor was lacking, very surprised for a business that only does tamales.

first timer! picked up a couple dozen, folks were very nice & gave me tips on reheating, no problemo. I got the traditional pork & chicken. tasty!!!!

Worse experience ever, very expensive and look how thin they are, please people don’t go there is not worth it, there are other much better places like “algo especial “ is the Mexican store name. This is my last time and I feel cheated , it’s a completely rip off, come on $15 a dozen of the size of a pencil tamales? Very disappointed.

Always amazing. Great tamales and great salsa. Been going here with my grandparents for as long as I can remember
