This place I prob wouldn't go back...food took forever to get ....flat pop dj sucked. People were awkward n only 2 servers....couldn't even order a drink at the bar...
Me, and my family are from a different state and want to try some great soul food well let me tell you this is not the place to go service stucks we I say extra slow I mean took us over 40 minutes to get our food the a extra 5 minutes to get some plastic forks just to eat with after our food came. It seemed like the waiter was more worried about drinking then actually taking care of her customers, then had the nerve to take her own tip out cause lord knows what she took out she wasn't going to get that much from me..I would not recommend anyone to go sit down and eat there. On a good note the extra loud music was great.
Never again. Absolute worst experience. Food was horrible. Service was defineatly horrible. Server short female with gray hair rude and had an attitude. I'd rather eat white castle for a year before I go back.
The experience was horrible. I will never come back. There was one other couple and a small group of 3 others when we arrived.It took 15 min to place the order. The waitress was wandering around and on the phone at the bar for the majority of the time. At minimum 6 people came in to place their carry out orders at the bar and left within 15 min. We waited for over 1hr and walked out with no food ever served after ordering wings and catfish bites. NEVER AGAIN!
I just ordered potato skins the menu says $8 but when she ran it up it ran up $10. I added chicken that cost me $5. So for some potato skins and to add chicken I spent $18.45. the potatoes was hard the chicken was dry with no flavor at all I had to add ranch and sour cream so that I can swallow them. They must be writinging their own reviews. Total waste of money for sure. We want to support our black businesses but this is the reason why we don't. The waitress/bartender was very pleasant that was a highlight of my first and last experience.
Worst food on the Westside of Detroit. Lamb Chops tasted like liver, Mac&Cheese was horrible. Noodles was hard as a brick. Spinach dip was nacho cheese and uncooked spinach. Stevie Wonder Wonderful wings was HORRIBLE! I bit into a fry and it was so greasy like they had been sitting marinating in grease overnight. I will never come go back.
Don’t eat here!!! Mac and cheese was old and hard salmon wasn’t done potatoes was cold and hard Broccoli had soo much salt I mean come on now. I try to support black businesses but it’s so hard!!!
checc ya food before u leave they terrible with orders gave me all the sauce to the wings But it was no wings just sauce and fries good food but it’s a hit or miss with this place go at your own risk ??♂️
Food was excellent, drinks was on point and kareoke was so much fun!
They charge gratuity for carry/take out orders. Some straight nicca zhit. Did not have items on menu. Food was over priced for quality. Waitress was drunk but friendly. Would I go back...NO!
