I went into their establishment not too long ago. There was a lady at the counter and a man waiting to order his food. As soon as the lady finished with her order, the clerk looks at me and yells “I’m only taking one more order. No more.” I feel he should have announced that when I first walked in instead of letting me stand there for 5 minutes. It was very rude and inconsiderate. I will not be coming back. It’s bad enough they barely take phone orders.

? Nice hot fresh?

I usually get the same thing when I order, fried rice. Never in my 4 years of eating here have I found a pebble in my rice…. I chipped my tooth.. I’ve called at least three times but no one is answering.Update: just got off the phone with someone there and he continuously cut me off saying “I don’t know anything about that.” and “We don’t cook anything hard in our rice.”…. I thought they would grant me some sort of refund, especially given that I’ve been a regular for 4 years but no. No more Sun Sun for me… so rude.

Got a double combination could not mix if I wanted a different combination that wasn't on the menu I had to pay extra ( never had to do that at other Chinese restaurant). The food was good.

I would love to go here again

Food was greasy, not fresh. Gave me the wrong order, wanted to argue with me about giving me the wrong order. Some days are good, some days are bad. I will not be throwing my money away at this dive. Lost a customer!

The egg foo young was great. I'm going to give 5 stars anyway. But I do suggest the guy at the window changes his attitude it's never welcoming.

Best place in the city for takeout Chinese. I give it a 4 because of the plexiglass but they are overall a pleasant establishment.

Best Chinese Food around!!!

My baby sister and I went to Sun Sun on Friday August 27th to get food for my sister and myself, my nephew, and our father. We spent roughly $85, ordered just about everything on the menu, and everything was on point! The portions were larger that most, everything was delicious, and the service was great. I'm sorry that I don't have any pics, because we were too busy eating to think about writing a review. It was our first time going, and we wanted to see if all the reviews we'd been reading were actually true.Well, that was three days ago, and I can assure you that all of these five-star reviews are absolutely true.We ordered ham fried rice, beef fried rice, pepper steak, orange chicken dinner with pork fried rice, sesame chicken dinner with chicken fried rice, beef egg foo young dinner, and a separate order of beef egg foo young (3-patties) with plain rice, spring rolls and another dinner special that my sister had ordered with fried shrimp and shrimp fried rice. There may be a couple more things that I missed because our order was huge.Everything we ordered was delicious. We are all picky eaters and not one of us had a single complaint. I personally believe that the trick to getting the best food is to go in the late afternoon when all the food from the day before is gone, and everything being cooked it fresh. I believe it was 7 pm when we went.Anyhoo, I'm rambling... but you get my point. The reason I was soo excited to find a place that's still actually serving good food is because there is nary a Chinese Restaurant in my neighborhood where the food is not absolutely awful post pandemic.
