Okay so my first time going to this place tonight it was absolutely phenomenal a wide class of people I enjoy the atmosphere and the vibe the music was on point the only thing I would say is the drinks are absolutely awful other than that the atmosphere the ambience is to die for the vibe with spectacular in the host of crowd of people was fantastic most definitely will be going back with all of my friends to enjoy a magical night of Good vibes and music ❤️
One of my fav spots in the city. It is a cafe and record store by day and a bar/ live music venue in the evening. It is very spacious in layout, the bartenders are very friendly and the drinks are always good as well as the food vendors outside. The best spots are outside on the terrace with the additional tables and rooms to gather in. The owners of this venue really keep it up and treat it like their second home. I recommend anyone visiting the city of Detroit to stop in for a good time! Oh and they have the best DJs!

Been hearing a lot of great things about this venue and was fortunate enough to experience it on May 31st for the movement closing event with Rick White and Kai Alce which was outstanding. The set up of the space and exploring the areas, bunkers with seating not to mention the art and instillations was all so eye catching and appealing. Love the little record shop that was near the bar too. Amazing sound, Great friendly staff not to mention the crowd and dancers this place attracts. Also noticed some of the events they had going on during memorial day weekend were not just of parties, but also had a food market or coop set up on the friday of that weekend, gave me a sense of community and collectiveness which makes me more then excited to check out this spot again the next time I visit Detroit. ALSO THE FOOD SET UP OUTSIDE <3 <3 Highly recommend this place!

Went for the first time last weekend. Place is chill as hell. Didn't get any weird vibes from anyone. Everyone is just trying to enjoy the music and dance. The music choice is the best I've seen at any club around Detroit. Definetely gonna be going here more often.
This place was so cool. All the staff was really nice and welcoming. They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages tons of records and boards and art. They have an alley/patio connected with nooks to hang out in. This place just has an awesome vibe. Wish I could've gotten more pics but no phones allowed on the dance floor (don't necessarily blame them). There was a cover to get in the day I went for an event worth it! Lots of room.to move about tables chairs sofas lounge areas. It is surrounded in a little bit of a shabby side of town but seriously worth checking out.
what in the world is the door guys problem. I walk up alone said no words to this man, I put money on the table and he really said “Oh that’s rude, you could’ve gotten in for free. You’re so rude “ I was so taken aback, I took my money back and left. I came back with friends to talk to the owner and all she said was “ I gotta back my guy up, the stories didn’t match up” I don’t know what they were on, I wasn’t asking for any favors. I just didn’t wanna be treated how I got treated last night. You know your door guy, I talked to all your regulars and they all know exactly who I’m talking about. Disrespectful.
Unique place. Incredible vibe, music and service. Draws together many of the elements that make Detroit such a special city. Can't recommend Spot Lite enough.
