Let me tell you the tomato cobbler is delicious shout out to Ryan, ? I went all the way there and it was well worth it and food???️?️ was delicious I'm not done feeding myself? I will eat more and more it taste just like my home cooked mea?l so I appreciate it I'm from the East side

We did a brisket meal and a smokehouse platter. Piece of red velvet. Piece of 7up pound cake. Side of fried Okra. Food was delicious. BBQ sauce was all over the Mac and yams which made those taste odd, but sh*t happens. The Okra wasn't salted, and a tad over cooked... but still good. The red velvet cake was very dry, but looked gorgeous. The pound cake was pretty good. Not perfect by any means, but definitely worth revisiting. And I will.

I have nothing to say bad about this restaurant. The food was on point, especially the collar greens(thank you for not adding sugar), brisket, Mac and Cheese. If you’re looking for a place that exemplifies customer service, this is the place. Omg, the tomato ? cobbler is heaven! Thank goodness I don’t have to drive to Greenfield any more.

I ordered a meatloaf dinner the meatloaf was dry and the green beans were canned and the mashed potatoes were boxed and the gravy was like the gravy I give my damn dog they need to get some old school cooks in there cause the teenagers they have in there do not no how to cook I repeat they need some old school home cooks up in that place I'm so serious and dissatisfied

Food was good. I simply ordered meat loaf with mac n cheese and greens. Greens were clean, tender and tasted very good, but too many stalks in my order. Will definitely return??

It's not the best tasting soul food by no mean But it's not the worst.. I order a 4 piece chicken dinner for my husband I got 4 small pieces of chicken and I ordered a slice of pecan pie it's not pecan pie its cheese cake with pecan on top, not what I was expecting at all.. To each it own judgment, this was my first and last time.

I ordered a meatloaf dinner with rice and lima beans. I also ordered a side of dressing and slice of pound cake. The food had sooooo much salt on it that I couldn't eat it! I normally have to add salt to food. The dressing had a sweetness and heaviness to it that I didn't like at all and I am hard pressed to believe that the pound cake is homemade. This was my first and last time ordering here and I'm extremely sad about that because it's important for me to support local businesses.

Just left from trying to place an order. This used to be one of my favorite soul food spots but due to one of your rude employees, I will not be returning. Customer service is very important and one employee in particular needs a refresher course…

Ordered 2 wing dinners, waited 25 minutes for wings & received some nasty wings that was fried in old grease with too much salt! And the dressing had a middle layer of chunks of plain dry cornbread. Mac & Cheese was good!

The food was ok. Catfish was good, but for the price of a dinner, three pieces would be nice. I gave two stars because the brisket was basically a slab of fat cooked in the oven, no plastic ware was provided, and the mac and cheese was average. First impressions are everlasting impressions.
