One of the best airports in the country! Nothing more simple and efficient as DTW. Great amenities in both terminals, especially the McNamara Terminal.
Lounges: 4 sky clubs in McNamara Terminal. Big one in middle of concourse A, smaller ones on both ends. Medium and quieter one in concourse b/c after tunnel. 1 in north terminal (Lufthansa) on left
The airport is amazing! One of the best in the country. McNamara has plenty of things to offer. North Terminal has good food options.
Stopped here on the way to a hockey tournament. As soon as I walked in I should have walked out (but we had good service at other Tim Hortons so we stayed). The dining room was dirty and the counter was cluttered with crumbs and other spilled drinks. The staff was RUDE and got our order wrong. The donuts were stale, the food tasteless and not hot. When I asked why all the drinks were filled 2/3 of the way they said, "Because, they are!" If you want a good value for your money and good service - DO NOT STOP HERE! You can thank me later.
