Tasty calzones and Italian subs. Always fresh. Serving sizes were plentiful. Easy to order online and food always prepared on time. This location has a dining area and public restroom. The restaurant is clean and the staff professional. Parking is convenient, right outside the door. This is in a strip mall type of setting. Great for grabbing a lunch to take to Belle Isle.
Oh barf! I was excited to try their Chicago style pizza because I love deep dish pizzas and I've had Chicago style pizzas in the past. Sadly I was extremely disappointed to find out that the cheese was grainy and tasted like flour. It tasted so much like flour that it felt as if the pizza was under done. I even deconstructed the pizza and discovered that it was indeed the cheese that tasted like that. That being said I threw my $30 some pizza away after only eating a piece. ?
My family has for years purchased the medium to large seafood pizza that’s been in the past exceptional. As of today, I was very dissatisfied with the quality of the seafood pizza and would encourage customers not to waste money on PizzaPapalis from the Detroit E. Jefferson. I couldn’t find the shrimp nor the fake crab, which we used to enjoy!!!! ? We will no longer patronize PizzaPaplis, the cost was never an issue but quality definitely is a PROBLEM FOR ME.

Overall, the pizza is decent tasting. But the prices are just idiotic. This is in Detroit, mind you, not New York. They charge about over 30 dollars for a medium pizza. A medium pizza. For Christ's sake, that pizza better be the best thing on Earth.Having tried one, it tastes very similar to Sajos Pizza. And that pizza is mediocre to say the least. And also why would you name your restaurant after a scene from Big Daddy? Wow!

Eating at the Greek town location for years and their food was delicious!!! I just found out that location is permanently closed down and I searched google and found the this location. I’m absolutely disappointed very dissatisfied the food was “ NASTY” I ordered the deep dish pizza and a vegetable calzone. Add horrible customer service. My and my husband decided to dine in and had our pizza bought to the table in a box ( SMH) this place is nothing like Greek- Town pizza papalis. Never going coming here again.
This is some of the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is so good and the cheese pulls are gorgeous. Only downside is the pop machine wasn't working.
I'm definitely hooked on their veggie pizzas. They are so good that even meat lovers in our household will devour a PizzaPapalis veggie pizza.Also, we can't get enough of their 6" deep dish cookies and brownies. I always pick up a stack of them whenever I place a pizza order. ?
Although I tipped and they still got our order wrong...the food was so good when it FINALLY came out. The bourbon wings and spinach pizza are definitely a go. I'll make sure to order ahead though, as it takes up to 40 minutes for an order to be done.
