Stopped here when in Detroit. Located near Wayne State U. So amazingly delicious. Everyone there took such pride in what they do, and the pizza reflects this. We got the pear, feta and the Reuben. The flavors were incredible. The crust is different than what I’ve had here in NY. It was like a cloud. So great! I took a takeout menu, in case they ship! It’s that great. Thanks for the wonderful meal!
Absolutely LOVE Pie Sci! I'm a huge fan of the vibe and people there and the way it incorporated so many great community events. The pizza is just absolutely spectacular. We pick it whenever we have friends visiting from out of town and when we want to have a special and delicious night in. We can always count on Pie Sci to have the most remarkable combination of complex and savory flavors right alongside my favorite Margarita pizza and unusual but still delicious toppings like the unforgettable mind blowing flaming hot Cheetos pizza or breakfast pizza.
Nice classic pizza parlor. Had the gluten free crust as I was eating with a gluten-sensitive friend. It was a nice crispy thin crust. We ordered the Weird Al Pastor, imaginative, quality toppings well paired. Would like to see unsweetened drink options beyond water, like iced tea.
This is my absolute favorite pizza place. They have a lot of unique selections and I love that they offer a vegan/vegetarian option for each one. I order at least one pizza a week just to try their weekly special.
Smaller great pizza place. Small indoor area and great outdoor area. Great pizza both square deep dish and standard round pizza. Good people and great creative pizza ideas. Even better supporting local soda company Detroit soda.
Had the gluten free, vegan large. Great quality, fresh ingredients.Gluten free crust is thin, and a little bit on the sweet side. I prefer very savory and thick.The vegan homemade cheese is cashew based and packed with garlic and herbs.
OMG this is the vegan pizza mecca of Michigan. So many unique and delicious options. I got the vegan pasta pizza upon recommendation by the employee I spoke with. The crust was maybe the best I have ever had, or at least in the last ten years. The flavors were complex and complimentary and the cook of the pie was perfect! I will Definitely be back on my next trip to the city.
Unique.This place has pizza you'll get nowhere else, and they are great. They also have vegan/non-dairy which is huge for us with a dairy allergy in the house. The small is enough for 1 person, maybe 2 if it's a lunch or a snack.2 things to know.1.Woodridge pub next door is a great place to grab a quick beer while you wait for your pizza.2.The guy outside is always there asking for money and food, but he says he doesn't have back teeth to chew pizza, so... Don't offer him a slice.
AMAZING PIZZA! Let's be real, everyone knows the dough is where it's at for a good pizza place, and let me tell you, Pie-Sci has it DOWN! Phenomenal pies, wild & delicious toppings, and great service! We ordered a small Mosta-Spicoli pie and it was more than enough for myself and my ever hungry fiance to push through our holiday shopping today. Can't wait to go back and try their cheesey bread because the table next to us got it and it looked SO GOOD ?
This place is outstanding. I stopped in for a slice of the vegan pizza and it was amazing. Also, had Detroit City Soda in there which was great. Definitely coming back.
