Food is great and tasty. Large portions. Service is good. Fried jumbo shrimp and braised lamb shank are recommended. Will surely come back again.
Dishes were delicious. Lamb chop was especially good. A group having 8 or more eaters could make a reservation. Call in advance is recommended.
Our family of 5 enjoyed our dinner at Pegasus. We were visiting from out of town and our city doesn’t have a good Greek restaurant. Therefore we thought the menu and food was a treat. Standard old school Greek cuisine.. Saganaki, to Moussaka, to baklava and everything in between. Our waiter has probably been working there for decades and barely made eye contact but lit the saganaki with pizzazz at every table. They only take reservations for parties of 6 or more but we walked in and we’re seated right away on a Thurs night. Classic choice in Greektown when visiting Detroit.
The place is charming and the staff was nice. The food could have been better presented - it looks like they don’t think presentation is important. But it tasted very good and the portions are huge.

Excellent experience only to be topped by the personal touch of the owner Mr Vasily. Trust his food and dessert recommendations and enjoy authentic Greec food.Pegasus is my new favorite Greec restaurant in Detroit.
The lamb shank is unbelievably tender. I have no idea how they layed the meat on our plates without it falling off the bone. The fried baby squid was satisfyingly crisp and the service was quick.We will be coming back.
Let’s start with the good, the service and the Sangria were great… but this place is exactly the same as when I visited in the 80s, 2000s and 2010s. which would be fine except there is a large amount of dust stuck on the fake grape leaves has been there just as long. There were also black specs in the salt. Some of the food tasted amazing a fresh and some of it like it had sat around. It was just sad and disappointing and not a place I will return to when I visit Detroit. I hope they turn it around, clean up the decor and maybe limit their menu so the food stay fresher.
