Clearly one of your incompetent employees told me it was ok to still come in and place an order. If you don’t want to serve people after a specific time say that over the phone, I called and so did other family members call to confirm it was ok before I came up to place an order further more what does me coming up 10mins before you close have to do with your employees being rude and disrespectful? Your staff members couldve kindly said the kitchen was closed when I called…Did they? No they didn’t!! If you don’t want to take orders after a specific time then say that when someone calls and politely asks can they still come up or just say no we’re no longer taking orders vs someone coming in and your staff is buckling under pressure being disrespectful Because you close in 10mins. With that being said Hire people who actually want to work and not people who make your establishment look unprofessional.
Very good BBQ sauce and our yams was great. Our black eyed peas was good the first day we purchased but not so great 2 days later.
Just ordered rib tip dinner with Mac and cheese and yams.. awful!! Mac very bland taste like box Mac and cheese very starchy, yams plain straight out the can... need new cooks sorry not sorry. OH and the rib tips hard all bones.
The rib tips are delicious…I can’t believe this establishment has been here since the late 50s and didn’t know about the delicious food…I’ve had their greens, yams and Mac & cheese..soooooooo delicious!!!! Oh!!!! the sauce is finger licking good. The only downside is it’s a 45 minute wait.. no call in orders.
I refuse to continue patronizing businesses who clearly don't care about customer service. I called here and the lady attitude was soooo bad I canceled my order. I will put ribs in the oven before I deal with the foolery.(In response to the snide reply from Nunns it was SATURDAY when I canceled my order)
So very disappointed with this place It's a shame that the food is good but the customer service is really wack I'm calling to place of order They won't even pick up the phone Even if you're not taking orders have enough common courtesy and decent enough to pick up the phone and let your customers know you're not taking call in orders at the moment. And this is not the first time!!! It's more the 10th time of me calling the phone just rings!!!
My first few visits to Nunn's Barbecue were good, but the quality of their food changed as I continued to support their business. At times, my sides were cold or too salty. I got their coleslaw once, but it was old. Their Shrimp is really good, but it was undercooked the last time that I bought it. I ordered their fish at least twice and it was undercooked both times. They never compensate you without getting more money from you . . . 25% off my next order was not acceptable because they continued to mess up my food. And I do not want to hear about you being in business for 30 years so there is not a problem with your food. They totally lack the ability to be consistent with their food so I am no longer supporting their business.
Menu choices are quite tasty. Fast service. Clean store. The ribs just fall off the bone. Side dishes are delicious.They charge to use debit or spend cash. Read your reciepts.
There ribs are amazing! Sauce is out of this world.. sides are all amazing. 10/10 If you haven't tried this place and like BBQ, you are really missing out.
Grandma is rude as hell and her little grandkids are as well so disrespectful to customers today is my last time here ….why give them a paycheck when they have zero respect and are clueless about customer service
