Went here with two friends and, between the three of us, we ordered the chicken pelau, jerk chicken, and chicken curry (medium). Also ordered the beef patties and the Mac and cheese, along with the sorrel and rum. EVERYTHING ON THE MENU WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My two friends have never tried Caribbean food before, and I’m happy to report that they are hooked. The food was piping hot, the service was excellent, the serving size for the price paid was reasonable. We just moved in down the street and we are so excited to be in such close proximity to such an amazing restaurant.
I was at Norma G’s last night with friends for dinner before a show at the Aretha Ampitheatre. Service was amazing-polite and efficient. The food was FANTASTIC. I had jerk chicken(5star). Friend had Oxtail sliders which she loved. Fries were very good as well. Prices were very fair for solid portions. Norma G’s exceeded all my expectations.
I finally got to enjoy my favorite Doubles, again @normagscuisine ???? The food was amazing, made with love and flavorful. Great atmosphere and the owner Lester was really kind and made sure everyone was okay. Please stop by and try them. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Their house made hot sauce ( which you can buy bottles of)was just the right amount of heat and full of flavor.
Norma G’s is a wonderful restaurant, that offers the finest in Caribbean style cuisine, music, and culture. Whether you’re looking for a spot to hang with a small group of friends, or an intimate evening for two, this is the destination. Order the jerk chicken or ox tails, along with a drink from the bar, and enjoy the live reggae band. You won’t regret it.
Was our second time there and the food is delicious and portions are great. Very friendly and service was great.
I ate with a friend for lunch. Picked up the chicken and waffles. The waffles were great light and fluffy the kind you would always want. Chicken was alright. While I did enjoy it. There wasn't anything special with it.If you go make sure you get one of their drinks. They are amazing.
This place is a true gem for anyone craving Trini or Caribbean food. I highly recommend getting Doubles as an appetizer and you can't go wrong with any of the entrees. I really enjoyed the plantain sides too!

I loved my first experience at Norma G’s. The owner is such a nice man and wonderful server/bartender. He was kind to all of the patrons and extremely hospitable. The building is clean and inviting.Tried the jerk chicken and oxtail tacos. PHENOMENAL. Both meats were tender and juicy. Also had the doubles. They are quite large and filling. I loved the flavors of the curry. I also tried the hot sauce. Bought two bottles!I don’t live close to Norma G’s, but it’s worth the trip. Would love to introduce this to friends.
This place is amazing. It's beautiful and clean. The hostess was exceptional. The owner was so nice. He brought my 2 daughter crackers to stop her from crying. We had jerk wings and jerk chicken sliders which were delicious. The oxtails were phenomenal. I wish I discovered this place sooner.
