Average food, not bad but good selection available. Price is reasonable for airport food.Carryout order (which starts earlier) isn't permitted to dine in even if lotta seats available.
Lady at the counter said we can carry out and eat inside if we wanted to cuz we were already waiting 20 minutes. The serving lady in dining area had the worst attitude and kicked us out. Screw her :)
Very Quiet on a Sunday. The staff was very courteous, the food was timely and it tasted good.
Arrived with plenty of time to eat before our flight. We waited and waited until finally we found out that non of the "very friendly" workers had no clue what happened to our order. So the order wasn't even started. They were kind enough to say the would start the order. We had no time to wait to wait again so we asked for a refund. They do have a great selection of breakfast items (which that's what we were there for), the lunch menu looked good as well. The price for my husband and I was $20.?? which isn't bad at all for airport food and drinks. So make sure you have more than enough time. I'm sure the food would be good, lol we just couldn't find out due to time and a misplaced (by the workers) order ticket.
This is the best home cooking in the airport. Good Ole favorites. Great airport prices!!! The staff is incredible truly:)
Awesome burger at the Metro Detroit Airport location
Stopped in to have a breakfast before our flight recommended by the porter. Pancakes eggs veggie burrito all really good and the service was fast and friendly.
The staff is really friendly and helpful. They know that everyone is on a tight schedule and is quick and efficient. Also the prices are very reasonable for an airport restaurant. They usually have decent beer on tap. I will always go here before my flight if there's time.
So I tried the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which was not a good idea at a hot dog place. The chicken patty looked like it was first frozen in 1987, and it tasted that way as well. I never write bad reviews, but this sandwich was so bad, I feel the need to warn. Perhaps the other food here is great, but stay away from the chicken sandwich!
Easily the best food option in the North Terminal of DTW. Also speaking on all of the National Coney Island brand; very accessible menu for most any dietary restrictions. I focus more on the vegetarian and vegan options, see those are extremely limited in almost any airport.NCI carries Morningstar Southwest Veggie burger patties, Beyond Burgers, and their own southwest veggie chili which consists of black beans, corn, tomatoes, and garbanzo beans.I’ve frequented this eatery and have modified my order a few times without question. Today I ordered Veggie Chili Fries and I had a little party by myself in the corner of the gate. The fact that I can eat heartily while in care of my dietary choices at the airport really is a wonderful privilege in this modern day of traveling.National Coney Island has a very convenient take out window as well as a full dining room with full service. Currently there are only a few options open for food and beverage in the North Terminal. This is a superb option considering the other mostly just offer burgers, pizza, and chicken sandwiches.
