I don’t typically review but…the hungry should beware…Never again! No matter the reviews saluting their sandwiches. We came and were told that it was an hour wait for a table or we could order online — implying that it was quicker. Estimated time was 50 minutes — not much of an improvement but decided to wait as I didn’t think there was an option to cancel. Too bad they don’t give you an estimated time for online orders before you pay (would’ve been helpful). After 1 hour and 20 minutes, were told there was still a couple orders ahead of us—approximately 30 minutes. So…2 hours for a sandwich!!!! The staff was apologetic but not even slightly fazed or urgent. Ugh. We cancelled and went to Mercury Bar…yum!
Maybe the best sandwich place I’ve ever been to!! I got the Dad and it was simple but delish. 10/10 recommend
AS GOOD AS A SANDWICH GETS!*One suggestion, if it's a 30 min wait at the carry out window, please don't say it's 15 min. The straight forward approach respects the customers time constraints and is always best.

Couldn't quite figure out how to dine with Mudgie's. We arrived while they were open, but, it seems like they are only taking online orders for pick-up at an outside window. We walked around a few times trying to get some attention to no avail.
Awesome sandwiches with quality craft ingredients, oozing Corktown charm and history, great atmosphere and staff. You cannot be a Detroit sandwich enthusiast and not be familiar with Mudgies. Eat local
a drug rep brought our clinic sandwich boxes for lunch one day. had the corned beef on an onion roll with macaroni salad. wow. food is really delicious. would 10/10 recommend.
