I'm devastated. I spent nearly $50 on two dinners. The food was awful. I use to love this place. I guess things have changed. I would have not made this public, but they would not answer their phone. I fee so robbed.
If i could give Motorcity Soulfood no stars you would get it..Your food is terrible.. I thought you had baked macaroni.. NOT!!! it was on the stove.. no flaver and what kind of cheese dod you use... [email protected] The beef strogenoff was mushy... NASTY!! The dressing no flavor... hard, dry.. the bake chicken was to salty..Just disappointing... all around... 0
Where do I start? The vegetables were great they did not put enough ribs tips in the dinner they gave the lady smoke four small pieces the fried pork chops were so dry we had to throw them away when we got home we live too far away to take them back the rest of food was actually quite good some people were masked and some people did not I could have put up with anything else except for one of the servers one of the workers had a very nasty attitude and it's hard to hear through that glass window and she acted like she was irritated beyond irritated but when you work in a business where you have to be socially interacting with people you should leave your attitude at home or outside the door it makes people not want to come back the rest of the staff were great they were very friendly but one lady was in a bad mood and that just made me not even want to come back anymore he was very impatient and tolerant rolling her eyes it's the nasty attitude in general. I realize I had to get there earlier in order for the food to be fresh and juicy I requested other meat other than the one that was in the bottom of the pan but she said they didn't have anymore. Anyway wasn't a pleasant experience I was just so grateful for the cashier was nice to me.
Wow, I had know idea the food was gonna be this good! The Fried and bake chicken, Green Beans, Pinto Beans and Rice there's more food to choose from, so what are you waiting for just get in car come on down and get you some Soulfood that's good for the Soul!
Good good good. The food still taste good here. I always get fried chicken breast, fried pork chops, greens and macaroni and cheese. For first timers I recommend the Meatloaf dinner. Everything on the menu is good. The best soul food in that area for sure. Definitely try them out. I highly recommend.
Very unprofessional! Customers do not come first in their eyes! It was plenty of staff there to serve the two customers that was standing in line! Very rude and over packed my food ! New workers needed there ! Food was nasty!!!! Mac and cheese taste Iike craft
Limited Menu items. Wanted Mac & cheese, and dressing. Left with cheese broccoli, after going home to smash my food, I found out that the cheese broccoli was served cold. Some days are better than others when it comes to this take out restaurant for about $18.00 per plate I expect better.
My go to when I want some down home cooking when I'm on the go. Best meatloaf out there.....Period! Dinners are not cheap but, what you get in quality AND quantity makes it one of the best bang-for-the-dollar places you'll see in the restaurant take out business.
The customer service was excellent and they give you LARGE portions but I'd have to say that for me some of the items I got lacked in flavor.I got the pork chop dinner with Mac &Cheese(cheesy but bland) Greens(OK but kinda bland) Yams(doctored up canned yams) pork chop( good and well seasoned)Rib Tip dinner with Mac& Cheese( cheesy but bland) Green Beans (bland) Rib tips(Good and good sauce)Last but not least I tried the sweet potato pie (I wouldn't get it again) but AGAIN the portions are large, the food was ok and the customer service was on point so. I think I would give them another shot.??
The food was good, decent portions. The process getting the food needs to be a little more efficient. There should be a separate area for call-in orders. A customer came in and wanted to skip the line because they called in an order, disregarding the customers who were standing in line.
