First time here and not my last. I had The Godfather Pizza and it was superb! Got some root beer and cream soda to take home. Can't wait to try it!
I had a bad takeout experience but the general manager was awesome. He refunded the entire takeout order (friends included) because he was bummed our eating experience was ruined. Can't buy that kind of management. Will def be dining in to repay the favor.
This was my first visit to this small brewery located in back part of the parking lot of the brewery Traffic Jam. This place has good beer! You know I'm not much of a beer drinker but when it's cold & tasty... ? I haven't tried it but the pizza looks delish ?. I had just eaten so I was full but I would come back just to try the spinach & feta cheese pizza! If you look too hard you will miss this place. Go check them out. They do not sell liquor, only seltzers & beers.
Tonight, my boyfriend and I got carry-out from here. I was super pumped to try the pizza!….To only see the cook man handling our pizzas with his bare hands while cutting them/ putting them in the boxes. Definitely won’t be back.PS gloves are decently priced on Amazon.
Food was 2 stars, gave an extra star for the beer. I used to love this place, but I won't make it a point to come back anytime soon. My pizza was light on the toppings, and very underwhelming. It had artichoke and red onions, some other things. I ordered a side salad, the dressing was just pure balsamic vinegar. No flavor at all, just sour. The dinning room needs a refresh for sure. With all the options in the area, I can't see myself coming here for food. Beer is good.
A lil bit too hipster for it's own good and trying too hard IMHO. Food was mediocre at best but I was expecting a much higher bill so there's that. Got the full scoop on the parking lot dilemma/controversy so an extra * for that. Detroit, can't you all just get along?
Had high hopes for this place but not a great beer selection. Pretty disappointed with their options and quality of beers.

Cozy spot to grab a beer and a pizza to share. The outdoor seating is partially enclosed with heat and a perfect option for COVID-cautious dining.
Always a great experience at Motor City Brewing Works. Can’t wait to visit the new location.
