I can't believe this is was sent out of the kitchen to be given to someone to eat. It's so burnt and unappealing. Waste of cash.
I'm not one for writing a review. But I feel this needs to be said. I usually just don't go back and let others decide for themselves. But I paid $30.23 that included a service fee of $3.75 for 4 piece chicken and Red Velvet(brown) waffles and added potatoes that didn't taste like much either. Chicken was discolored as well and unseasoned. Service was aweful. I could go on but just either keep your hard earned money or go elsewhere. Save yourself the disappointment. It was a nice place tho. It really could be a great neighborhood joint if somebody cared about the service and food.
Ordered food and when I went to check my bag the order was wrong! I called back to see if it could be fixed and was rudely told it was correct so I brought it back to show them and get a refund for one of the orders but was rudely told again they weren’t going to go back and forth with me about a $70 order they messed up so I got a full refund even though I only wanted it for one order. Rude, unprofessional and tacky! For the price of the food everything should be perfect and attitudes are not needed, no wonder they don’t have any workers! NEVER AGAIN
I really wanted to support just on the love of it being a black business but I was so disappointed that I couldn't help but review. I ordered red velvet French toast and received (I don't know what this is) doused in dye, no cream cheese icing, onion or something must have touched it at some point because the edges of the piece I did eat tasted like it. My plain pancakes came with one circle pancake and one oddly shaped square pancake. Just a mess.
LISTEN! This place never disappoints great service, great drinks and delicious lunch! My favorite is the chicken quesadilla. The ladies behind the counter always great you with a smile and let you know they look forward to seeing you again!
Terrible customer service even worse the food was horrible grits mushy and plain as ever chicken taste like it was cooked in old grease to top it off paid damn near $70 for ten pieces of chicken and two small grits most def would never refer employees have terrible attitude the place was very clean is the only good thing I see overall I’d give them a 2 on a scale from 1-10

Overpriced ‼️ First time there. Order original waffle and whole wings… it don’t come eggs, or grits, hash browns nothing else for $16. SMALL jar of kool aid like $4 $5 ? I ordered eggs with cheese too so my total was like $21.. I get my food the whole wings are SMALL like kid sized meal. The waffles the same! I usually go to Kuzzo’s, wanted to try something different like always! The portion and the price not good❗️ The food was alright all around. I try to support black business but this 1 i Won’t be back spending my hard earned $ at.
Very good breakfast food. The first time ive had bacon that was good in a carry out. Kool aid delish!
