My husband and I decided to try Mezza for the first time during a layover in DTW. The food was absolute disaster. We tried the beyond burger and falafel wrap, they were both cold and are really expensive for the quality they served us. The server “Erica w” was very rude. she was adamant of having us seated in a place that we’d liked. I would give 0 stars if Google would let me do it.

Tasty food. Prompt, friendly, and thorough service. Reasonable prices. I was happy they have some healthier choices on the menu and allowed me to substitute a house salad for French fries.

Never buy from here. Worst place to eat waste of 50 dollars. Bought 4 shawarmas and a piece of cheese cake and the chicken was rubbery and flavorless. The cheesecake was also bland and too soft. The service was friendly but they need to put fresh food out there not that garbage they sold me.

Grabbed dome dinner here during a layover. Food was good and not overly priced for being in an airport. Draft beer was nice and cold.Service was good and I did not wait long for my food.

Neat little restaurant inside of Detroit airport. The service was good, food presentation was good, taste was great. Price wasn’t too bad for airport food. My colleague and I had an enjoyable lunch. This is one of the better places to eat in the airport.

Spoiled lettuce, soggy croutons 2 piece of chicken. Over $11 with tax for 1/2 sandwich. Went in the garbage by gate 75 ?

Decided on Mezza for lunch while waiting on our next flight, because it was right next to our gate. Turned out to be the wrong choice. The menu looked pretty good, the service was decent, and everything seemed clean. But the food was not very good at all. My wife and I both decided to try the chicken shawarma wrap, which turned out to be the wrong choice. The chicken was supposed to be shredded, but was actually cut into chunks. It was very dry and some pieces were actually somewhat hard. It was as if the chicken was leftover from some other recipe, or a couple days old. Either way, it was not good.

I used to eat here periodically before the pandemic. Back then it was great you could get pizzas, salads all sorts. Today you get a dirty photocopied menu with the choice of a chicken wrap or a burger. I had to ask for everything right down to cutlery. Burger itself was undercooked. This place needs to shape up or ship out.

The bartender has apparently been working for 11 hours and is trying to close the bar early. It smells like bleach up here and she's tilting all the barstools up so nobody can sit down. Google says the bar is open for another 2 hours. Food is very blah. Why is the chicken shawarma covered in industrial mayo? Maybe that's a local thing?

Customer service is okay but not spectacular. Food is alright, clean, neat and organized, not so tasty, price is okay for an airport restaurant. The bar tender (Joan) is good at her job but not necessarily friendly which would have been nice.
