Omgosh stay away from here if you're on a diet or don't want to gain 10 pounds..Everything in here looks and tastes delicious. I went shopping to get my husband a Tres Leche cake and went crazy with sweet breads, cookies , churros and othe treats for the kids.
I will not be ordering from this Bakery anymore.Told me my order was supposed to be done Monday So when I called Monday to confirm that it was ready for pickup I was told that it was. Then when I go to pick it up Tuesday Morning It hasn't even been made yet?! So I wasted time and money To pick up something that wasn't ready. But when I pick it up Wednesday Morning Not only is the picture on the cake Crooked But it's so faded that you can't Make out what the picture even is! Was nowhere near worth the money they charge for it Honestly Avoid this Bakery and keep your money in your pocket.
I have been coming here for 10 TEN YEARS and today I'm very upset and I will never be back! I ordered a cake a week ago to be picked up today 6/5/22 and the cake looked like they made it last week!! It looked horrible. The fruit was dry and the icing was old looking with pink dye around the fruit. I asked them to put FRESH fruit on it and they did. The cashier tried to hide the pink on the cake but that made it look worse. I asked them to fix the cake for the THIRD time and they would not. So I demanded my money back and I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. MY FAMILY ALSO COME HERE BUT AFTER THIS .....THEY WONT BE BACK EITHER!!!!As soon as I can I will upload this dogfood they called a cake smh

Delicious is what describes this place! The smell you get when you walk is amazing. So much selection of fresh baked sweets you just want it all. Pricing is very reasonable.
The 1 star is NOT for their delicious treats but for their dishonesty and deception. We visited MTB yesterday to pickup some of their magnificent desserts, upon paying I was stunned by the seemingly expensive bill. I thought something was a little off but also considered we bought a couple larger portions and I didn’t know the price of anything. APPARENTLY, the young lady ringing me up also realized that something was off. And I know so because she proceeds to hand me my credit card receipt only and not the itemized receipt, which I had already asked for. AS SOON as I asked for the itemized receipt (again), she immediately converted from English to Spanish and consulted with the woman beside her...in Spanish! I understand some Spanish and knew and heard that she had overcharged me! But here’s the kicker, even though they both knew that I had overpaid, they both said “Have a nice day”!, as if nothing was wrong. Neither one of them said nothing about the overcharge. But I did!!It gets a little bit worse, so once we all on the same page of the issue, she tries to refund me the difference. She enlists the help of a young man, BUT they even tried to cheat me on that by only refunding me $10.11! It should’ve been $13.93...so I did the math for them and they had to refund me an additional $3.82!I mean she actually looked at the receipt, knew that she had over-rang me 8 times for 1 item, tried to keep the receipt and proceeded to say bye under the advice of the older woman, I should add! I mean just be honest! Clearly, being overcharged wasn’t the problem...everyone makes mistakes!! BUT the problem is the concealment and deceit...for baked goods no less! I politely told her that she knew she was wrong and that is clearly is not cool, treat people how you’d like to be treated.Moral of the story, ASK FOR YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPT!!See the attached receipts as proof!!
Definitely a must try in Detroit. Delicious baked goods are visually pleasant too. Great service and very friendly counter help.
Easily one of the best bakeries in Metro Detroit. They have an amazing selection. Best bear claw and anything guava. I only wish I was closer because I love this place.
The frosting was light and the cake beautiful. The strawberry filling was delicious. The cake was gone within minutes. Will definitely visit this bakery again.
