This was a good local place to choose for dinner for out of towners. I always prefer to find a local place over a chain especially while on a trip. I would recommend Mercury Burger & Bar for sure!
Had a a Juicy Lucy ( cheese between to burger patties) with bacon. ADDED A FRIED EGG. Also poutine and that was delicious is also a little too salty for my taste or I would have given it five stars

Worst experience I’ve ever had a a restaurant and I will not be back. I will inform everyone I know to never patronize this bar because they lack professionalism, hospitality and customer service skills. I wish I could rate it 0 stars don’t go there!!The management team, Mike and Dua, we’re combative, hostile, and ultimately called me a liar because I was not satisfied with ONE item that I received. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking to have a decent meal. I have to wonder would I have had the same experience if I was a Caucasian customer. I’ve never had an experience like this at any other restauranthad an issue with the ratio of ice cream to whipped cream in my vanilla shake. I attempted to explain that there was way too much whipped topping on my milkshake than what I expected and it was literally half cup and that cause me to not enjoy the milkshake. I asked if I could have one without whipped cream and I was told no. Management because argumentative and stomped off in a hissy fit (Dua) without showing me any customer service. Then the GM (Mike) came over to my table and called me a liar about the amount that was in my cup as if I brought whipped cream in my purse and panted inside the cup. They tried to Insinuate that I didn’t know the difference between whipped cream and vanilla ice cream in a shake cup and questioned my ability to pay for the shake as if I was trying to steal a shake from them. They tried to intimidate me by surrounding the table and threatening me..RACIST!! I am a pregnant woman and I was highly offended and simply wanted to enjoy my meal. They expressed that they don’t make mistakes and there was no way they’d take it back or remake it. Management team was very sarcastic and argumentative.
Great place for a burger, fries & a shake. Portion sizes are good. I had a bacon cheddar burger, chilli fries with cheese, and a strawberry milkshake. My partner had The Juicy & a chocolate shake. Our tab was just over $43. Standard burger bar feel and decor with music playing overhead and a couple TVs showing whatever game is on. No frills, no thrills. Laid back kind of place. We dined in on a Sunday afternoon just after 12p, and there was only one other person in there. There is a lower level with additional seating. Parking is on Michigan Ave or the side street.
Found it by accident and it was well worth it. On the edge of Shadyville but still cool. Inside was really neat. As soon as I walked in i saw several construction workers so I knew 2 things right away: 1. The food was good. 2.The price was good. I was right on both accounts.
Mercury Burger bar never disappoints! A great atmosphere with great views of Michigan Avenue and the Michigan Central Station. The chocolate ? malts are perfect ?? and their burgers are delicious. We got the Chorizo burger/Southwest burger ? and it was excellent. Friendly, welcoming staff, and easy street parking or attended lot parking nearby.
