I believe it changed ownership. The quality and service went completely down hill. The place was dirty upon entering. The same chip trays are used between tables, no paper or anything to separate from the dirty tray, salsa only one and was way watered down. We both got sick after our dinner. Beans were cooked with burned lard. Too many options in SW Detroit to waste my money and risk my health. Never comming back, way too many options. New ownership is more concerned about cutting corners and making quick money vs. quality and service.
The food was enjoyable and tasty.Staff was very professional. The roving singing quartet was superb and they sang Happy Birthday they say in English and in Spanish such a treat I will recommend folks to go there take their families their children and enjoy the atmosphere professionalism and the food
Your restrooms are filthy. Didn’t even want to squat. After people left from there tables, nothing was disinfected. Waitress was in a hurry, we asked for red sauce got nothing, never asked if we wanted dessert just put bill on table. Music was too loud to hear what she was saying. Just a very bad experience won’t be back. Cheese was a mozarella for pizza
I love when you order tacos to go they give PLENTY of salsa,limes and sauce. Great service, and easy to order from online.
My experience here was great I took my mom out for dinner and she loved it the prices were reasonable and the service was great!!!
Great atmosphere and the wait staff were attentive. The food is some of the best in southwest Detroit. Awesome place.
First I'm from the southern states and this is the best authentic style Mexican food I have had in Detroit. They were busy the whole time but never skipped a beat. I got my tacos within minutes amd they were great! The staff was also very professional and attentive.
The waitress was really nice and helpful. I ordered fajitas and they came warm no sizzle and very greasy. The shrimp tasted dirty and the steak was fatty. Never order a fountain drink, it was flat.
‼️‼️⚠️ If I could leave a zero I would! From the food to the bathroom to the staff. Our waitress was an older woman with glasses with an awful attitude and terrible table manners. She was rude the entire time and seemed bothered for any request that you asked and didn’t bring what we asked for. The food was majorly bland and tasted of pure charcoal and it’s not what you ask for, I ate 3 bites and left with a upset stomach! The description doesn’t match what they bring out at all!!!! The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting especially for a staff of pure women ? and the toilet seat seemed rotted and like it’s never been clean (if you use the bathroom I hope you know how to squat good!) I honestly couldn’t say one good thing about this place⚠️‼️‼️
I wish I could rate a 0. The service is terrible but second only to the food. I ordered a steak burrito and I got steak-ums. I expressed that I was expecting real steak and would perhaps like to order something different and was told this was ‘their steak.’ I had resolved to let it go & take it as a lesson learned when the manager rudely came over to the table to inform me that me ‘not liking’ the food was not enough. There had to be an issue, like the “meat was not good.” I said that the meat was not good, and she basically told me too bad. I think Taco Bell has a better steak but judge for yourself.
