Mohamed changed my life, he put so much care and soul into his service and showed me what it means to be human. I can only hope that I can realize the kind of work ethic in my own life that Mohamed has demonstrated to me through simple acts of kindness. If we only had more people like him in the world, maybe there wouldn’t be war anymore. Care and pure passion is what this man demonstrates at his job every day.

I ate here for the first time today with about 5 friends. The food was absolutely concerning. I ordered a veggie burrito that has broccoli on it, and was more like a salad inside of a tortilla, not what I was expecting. My friends that ordered the ground beef complained that the beef was bland and tasted burnt. The salsa that they serve with chips was incredibly BLAND and we added hot sauce to give it pizazz. Overall I would never eat here again. Overpriced for low quality, horrible replica of food that I cannot consider "Mexican food". I am front a small town that has much better quality, seasoned, delicious Mexican food so I'm confused as to why a restaurant in downtown Detroit can get away with serving "a stomachache waiting to happen".

Hot Wednesday night, I called ahead at 11, no answer but Google says it closes at 2AM. Get there at 11:20, doors locked but two tables seated. Bartender just looks at me... ? I'm like maybe they're not seating more tables, and that's fine, but just say that, right? Call again when I get to my car just to double check, again, no answer... I bet the bartender just looked at the phone with the same blank stare I got.

Horrible service!.2 Waiters after a tigers game & across the street from greektown, very disappointed!!! I asked about this restaurant inside the casino because we were starving and it's been this way for awhile..the margarita was horrible and I did not get reimbursed; 0 Zero all day long.

i usually don’t write reviews but my experience here was too good not to. we’ve visit here about twice a month and each time is great all thanks to MD. he provides great service but even more so is a genuinely great person. we love visiting him whenever we can. bonus points for the food being really good too (:

MD was our manager/waiter. We went on a Thursday night. He has been here 12 years. He cares about the customer, food quality, service. We had the ground beef chimichanga with brand and rice. It is served with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guac. So good. Husband had hard shell tacos with rice and beans. He doesn't like beans but he liked these ? the building is not cookie cutter. The ambience is refreshing. Take a walk off Monroe Street in Greek Town. We will be back!

They have been on business for 45 years! If that doesn't speak volum I don't know what does. We had the pleasure of being helped by MD. Very friendly and fast! We loved the food! I had ground beef chimi with beans and rice. My husband had hardshell tacos. Food was flavorful and so good. The decor is also cool. Margs yummy. Take a walk off Monroe Street to Baubien you won't be disappointed! We will definitely come here every time we visit Detroit.

This is my first time coming here. MD is nothing but Amazing, along with other staff. Every one is super nice and our bartender Maya did her Thang on making sure we were well taken care of. Music had me shaking it the whole time! Will definitely come back!!

Best Tex Mex in Detroit. I've made it a tradition to come to Locos before every Tigers game I've been to since 2005, and as a season ticket holder, they have never disappointed. Draft beer is ice cold, prices reasonable, food is delicious and portions are generous. Last visit Locos didnt have queso dip available for an appetizer, and my daughter wanted this with chips as an app, and the server took time out of his day to concoct a delicious appetizer that was way better than just queso. My daughter loved it. I don't know what he did but it should be on the menu!Has been, is, and always will be a tradition to go to locos pre-game. There is just no better place to be.

We ordered the the Chimichanga (chicken and beef) both were great. Our food arrived very quickly. I ordered a watermelon Margarita (they have 18 flavors) which was very refreshing. Richie was our server and he took great care of us. We did come right before a game so it was packed.Overall I would come back. They do not have a kids menu but you can order kids items!
