Such a great experience. Friendly service with plenty of food to eat. the waffles were buttery tasting delicious, Shrimp and grits were amazing my advice to you taste the grits before adding any salt pepper or sugar.I enjoyed the food so much I went back twice in the same week. I wish the ladies restroom had paper towel to dry your hands
My grits and shrimp where cold to the point of congealing around the side of bowl. I asked for eggs cooked soft, almost runny, they where over cooked. The mimosa was warm and I was expecting orange juice, got peach.I had an event to attend and could not wait for food to be recooked, the staff didnt offer any options.The place needs some fresh paint, no paper towel in the bathroom. My bill was $31.50, not worth it.
My first time visiting was in 2016, came back again today. The food is consistently delicious. The fried chicken and corn pancakes are delicious. Definitely recommend. Shrimp and grits were great as well.
I Had a awesome breakfast the chicken sausage was soo good and the waffles were perfect. This is a cozy spot with live jazz on Saturdays. . Presentation is everything and you definitely can see that the owner takes pride in every detail. I will be returning in the near future.
This was my first visit here today and let me tell you.. it was DELICIOUS and the service was excellent!! I loved our waitress and her energy ?. I will definitely be returning !
We came from North Carolina and weren’t expecting such delicious food from Detroit but Le Petit Dejeuner showed us different! The fried chicken was the best and the sweet potato pancakes were great! Monica, our server gave us great service! Highly recommend!
Ok… this is a long review..Short version: great food, great people, great atmosphere, and sometimes a longer wait, but always worth it.Long version: so I have been coming here since 2017, and we are always so excited to come and enjoy the food and atmosphere.. my wife and I will always come here when we are in Detroit. It’s fun to see how they have done little things to the place over the years. The service is always friendly, and the food is the best in Michigan. This is not fast food and therefore you will probably wait, but if you have the time, you will not regret eating here.
Today food was on point service was A1 environment was great. I was a little nervous looking at the reviews but after my own experience I enjoyed it. We give it a 8.5 outta 10 stars

We visited this restaurant on Saturday 3/19/22. The greeter at the door Riquiba...super nice and professional! Our waitress...Monica...is a Boss! She handled the entire restaurant while short staff of waitresses. They all pitched in and held it down!Food:It's a family style restaurant. There were 3 in our party. We ordered chicken, waffles, maple bacon, potatoes and onions and an omelette. The food was delicious. Our only complaint is that we only got half a waffle per person and 2 chicken wings. So I ordered an additional waffle for me And my son to split. The food was very good and that waffle was ??!! Personally I'm a waffle lover and I can eat 2 by myself along with 4 wings lol. Go and enjoy!!
