I’m not sure how they store their pita’s, but I ordered a veggie hummus wrap, and it smelled and tasted like cigarettes; I couldn’t even eat it. I called to speak to a manager to make them aware he told me it was no way that my sandwich smelled like smoke. I even asked a few of my co-workers to smell it, and they all agreed it smelled terrible. I’m not too fond of the manager was trying to call me a liar instead of trying to make my experience right. It would be best if you were trying to figure out where it came from. I’ve eaten here quite a few times, but I will never spend a dime at this place again.
Today was my first time here. It was everything I wanted. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambience. I will be back again and again. Thank you for excellent everything!
Hands down best service each time I go. Food is great! Resturant always looks clean. They have a few fresh squeezed juice options (You can see them preparing it for you). My favorite is the strawberry ? lemonade ?. My first few times I got the Shrimp G dinner (I cant remember what the G was). Today I was ordering 2 of the same dishes (Shrimp G) for myself and my sister. The gentleman said "how about trying the same dish but with salmon?" Sure! Why not?! And It was just as delicious! And of course the fattoush salad is always fresh and I love the garlic sauce for the bread basket. The lentil soup is pureed and I eat it with the bread from the basket. My significant other ordered the pork chops and he loved them! They provide a generous amount of food for one person. I also like the tea with milk. They do have a parking lot that is free to park in so you dont have to park at the meters out front or trespass in the lot next door. Sometimes you will see their food trucked parked in it. The restaurant is on the corner. Behind the restaurant is a residential building and behind that building is the free parking lot which is a 1 min or less walk. Prices are fair about $20-$30 per person for a meal.
Had a lovely experience! My family and I were traveling for the weekend and we happened to stop by for lunch - and we’re so glad we did. Great service and excellent food. If you want Mediterranean food done right, I would definitely recommend La Palma!
Love the restaurant! My husband and I stopped there and the lamb chili was excellent, not spicy at all. The lamb kebab was tender and melted in our mouth and a plate fed 3 people. Definitely worth the trip and the service was friendly
The customer service was excellent. I love the decor, the vaulted ceiling is beautiful. The temperature of the restaurant was perfect. The bathroom was well kept and smelled amazing. The food was tasty and the portions were huge if you don't leave with a to-go box I'd be surprised. Don't be afraid ti ask questions or substitutions for a fruit in one of the smoothies if you happen to be allergic to something. I'll be coming back.
Everything was delicious and came in hearty portions, we definitely loved all it. We had soup, salad, chicken shawarma sandwich, the chicken shawarma dinner with rice and some fancy veggies, and that delicious hot poofy bread and garlic spread. ? ?The service was awesome as well! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best Middle Eastern food around. Staff is always polite and friendly, the food is always good and they offer plenty of healthy options. They also have a customer rewards system as well, so stop using the delivery apps and purchase in the restaurant.. if you’re looking for a nice dining in setting, this place is really nicely updated and always clean. Highly recommend the grilled veggies and chicken… but everything here is good, you cant go wrong at this place.
If I could leave zero stars, I would! The customer service is horrible and the manager was incapable of accepting responsibility for his mistake with my order. Detroit deserves businesses that are lead by people with integrity and today La Palma Detroit completely missed the mark. This is a small business serving great food during a pandemic, so I would never encourage people not to patronize such a establishment. Thank you La Palma Detroit for serving great food, but you have lost a customer due to my treatment today — indefinitely.
I ordered a Physician's Combo Platter for a birthday party and everything was just perfect. The food was ready on time, it was delicious, and most of all fresh. Lately, I feel quality at a lot of restaurants have gone down, but not La Palma. The lamb shawarma and the deboned chicken were amazing. La Palma also provided paper plates, utensils, and even serving utensils. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend them!
