Great environment and drinks. The prices are decent. My only issue is the Karen they have that comes on Tuesdays. Besides the Karen this place is amazing.
Chill atmosphere, and good drink prices. They have a pool table, pinball machine and one video arcade.

Wow. Its still a great fun bar! Beautiful remodeled patio..Sammy on the bar for Happy Hour..and Rich and Company on the bar after 9pm. ...seriously this is classic gay bar..and its wonderful..good eye candy too! Nice crowd..great drinks..friendly place. .it will become my new go to place. .especially Happy Hour afternoons!
This place started out slow but they all made me feel so very welcome. I met Sammy the bartender and the owner and they were wonderful. The pool table was busy and entertaining. The clientale were various and also very nice. I found my bar away from home in Detroit. The area looks sort of run down but that ads to the mystique and wonder of the place. The drinks are reasonably priced as well. I like darkened windows and southern accents this far north. I felt right at home. I found out the the ownership changed under 2 years ago and judging by the niceties it might have been for the better. Hayloft is a gem, a little rough but a gem none the less.
