staff was amazing and on top of things. food was excellent and great prices. will come back next time im in Detroit.
We are here visiting family in St Clair Shores. We went to go to Greektown to have a nice lunch. We had the most amazing server and great experience at your restaurant we will be back. Thank you. Five Stars

We went here with a large group. The appetizers were impressive, we pretty much got one of each of what they had on the menu. The flaming cheese especially was greatI ordered the gyro platter with rice. It was decent , nothing to write home about
Enjoyable visit. Service was excellent & gyros was most delicious. Like I remembered. Had not been able to get there for at least 2 years. Nice interior remodel. Looking forward to going back ! PEACE
I have been eating here for over 15 years and the food and service are always excellent. That’s way I was so sad with my visit yesterday. The remodel is beautiful. The food was the worst I have ever had there. The lamb tasted bland and the fires were cold. They seemed to have been sitting. The chicken lemon and rice soup was not even the same and wasn’t that great. I am disappointed with the food. I know places need to make a changes after the pandemic, to raise prices to pay staff but these changes are fails. If the food was the old quality I would say it was 100% worth the price, but with what I ate absolutely not. Also there is a new 20% gratuity, which was ok because the service was good. Overall am going to be looking to replace this old favorite with something new.
I ate at the Golden Fleece a couple years ago on my birthday and It was amazing. Some of the best Greek food I ever had in my life. This is not the same restaurant. The food is bland, the portions are smaller and the quality has really gone downhill. I remember this place used to be a Detroit institution, but those days are long gone. They have also implemented a 20% tip onto the bill, which for the most part I understand, but in this instance my server was not very kind and did not( in my opinion) deserve a tip that high. Save your money and time and go somewhere else.
Big portions and good food. We were in town for a red wings game and once our server found out she told us about a shuttle service that runs from their restaurant right outside the arena. It was perfect.
Excellent Greek food in the Greek Town. Excellent gyro, and traditional dishes. I recommend it as a must try.
I’ve been going to the Golden fleece for Saganacki, Gyros and Shish kebab for 20+years. It was the main reason I went to Greek town, I assume there’s new owners because of the latest remodel and the food has gone way downhill. My Gyro platter looked good BUT the meat had no spices and tasted like plan hamburger. After my visit there yesterday (2-6-22) I probably will never go back. I would not recommend eating here if you’re craving real Greek food and They added a mandatory gratuity to your bill even for just three people
