The menu was interesting with an assortment of Italian or Mexican dish’s. The wine list was interesting. Try it!

Great customer service but food was not great.

Faboulous Experience Eric took great care of us! it was pouring rain and was still the perfect atmosphere for a special night!

Great spot

Food is delicious. Staff is friendly. Our waiter seemed to be a little inexperienced, but that didn’t spoil the evening.

ALWAYS love our experience at El Barzon! The food is always delicious, waitstaff and hosts are always kind, courteous and attentive. Never had a bad meal; Mexican or Italian.

Great food and service. Would come back again for sure. Parking in the back was very convenient and easy.

This was our first trip to El Barzon. A very unassuming building from the outside, you walk in through the outdoor patio seating area and are transported to a new world. The host stand wasn’t well marked, and 4 of us missed it. We were seated outside (had reservations) and then waited. And waited. Someone brought us chips, and we waited more. We weren’t in any hurry, and we understand the world is short staffed, but we felted a bit ignored just trying to get anyone’s attention. We tried flagging someone down, and eventually a server came and said she would take care of us since we didn’t have anyone assigned our table. And then she didn’t come back. It was a bit longer before we finally got the attention of a manager. From then on- we were extremely well cared for. Things moved at a very good pace, not too fast, and as soon as one course was done, the next was ready. Food was excellent! The drinks were fantastic. I had gnocchi in a chorizo cream sauce that was a true Mexican/Italian fusion. Serving sizes are very generous. Atmosphere felt like an old Italian alley- I loved it.

Party of six. Everyone enjoyed their food, except me. I had the honey glazed salmon. It was very overcooked and chewy. I found have sent it back, but didn’t. Very noisy outside on patio, difficult to hear table conversation. Overall we enjoyed it but would not rush back.

This is a don’t judge a book by it’s cover type of restaurant… the front can make you skeptical but the food is some of the best dishes I’ve ever tried. For a great price too. The ceaser salad is GREAT. And it’s only $7! But the dish that makes me keep coming back is Strozzapretti Alla Norccina dish!!!
