Go to Sullaf on 7 mile just off of Woodward, not a liquor store. This place is shwarma for people who's culture tells them to start drinking at 10 in the morning. One can only imagine what they do to the food those people order ( and they actually think it's good ? ), just for shats and giggles.
Miss leading google info. Restaurant is in a liquor store and seemed to have only pre-made sandwiches. Ended up not eating here.
So I tried this the other day since its in walking distant from the house. I had steak shawarma fries and my husband had chicken shawarma fries. The garlic sauce had too much zest. My steak tasted like it was made from the thin sliced hoogie meat. His chicken had a better flavor and texture then the steak. I will give it another try...Ill try a regular shawarma.
Loved this place, I wasn't a big fan of chicken shrawmas before, then a friend of mine told me about Detroit Shrawma & I've been a regular since.. however they haven't been open in quite some time, a little disappointed
Took an acquaintance there so she could get some food which she likes.
This place was amazing but they relocated and I'm so sad about it.
I love this place.
First time eating here and it wad absolutely delicious and filling. I ordered the Detroit shawarma and hummus for the side and it was on point. Will be coming here again!
I've been here once came upon it when I was going somewhere else. I had falafel with whatever toppings I wanted on it. I like the many options they provide and the staff were friendly.
Awesome staff, extremely friendly and welcoming. Food was yummy too!
