They are open, although entrance is tricky to find. Good food and plenty of leftovers!

Don't pass this place up. While it's definitely not the cleanest place, the food and coffee is GREAT and for an excellent price. The whole place is ran by one little lady. I hate that I don't know her name but she is amazing!

Got a little confused with the entrance (enter through closed hotel main entrance) as I'm not from the area though not bad at all. Food is cheap with nice size portions, seasoned well and tasted yummy; pretty quick service too. There's an older woman who's the cook and waitress; it got busy but she had a consistent efficient flow.Unfortunately it is in the downtown area though luckily there's a public parking lot within walking distance that only charges $5 dollars for parking.Definitely recommend.

What I like about this cafe is they have good food and the portion is very generous. It looks like one lady who takes the order and she cooks too. Location is in the ground floor of “The Leland Detroit” on Bagley and Cass The place is open from 8 am to 2 pm serving breakfast and lunch. If you happen to visit Detroit please come to Dagwood’s and enjoy their meals. Need some serious renovations to the diner though!

The breakfast items range from Baby Dumpling to proper Dagwood Bumstead portions.I only subtract a star because my bacon tasted like every other meat product that touched the grill. The service was quick and wonderful. They made us feel well at home and relaxed.Credit/Debit accepted.

This diner is so cute & makes amazing food!! I live in the apartment building across the street from them so it’s an easy walk! The waitress that is usually there when I go is one of the most delightful human beings I’ve ever met in my entire life :) Please check them out!!

It's OPEN sign is on but they're closed. Counters are covered up No activity. Really wanted to visit

Came in for a late lunch and they were closing soon (I didn't pay attention to the hours posted) but they stayed and served my coworker and I and the food was great!

it was so appetizing. fast and courteous service. the bill was appropriate for the quality. i see why this place has a lot of positive reviews.

A truly delightful place to visit. The food was cooked to absolute perfection and the chips werr tender and succulent. Engaged in a most convivial conversation with one of the regulars; he told me that the restaurant was built on the site that gave birth to the game of cricket when young men would hit a ball with a piece of wood during their lunch hour in the 1689s. Fascinating absolutely fascinating. I believe Mr Dagwood should become an honorary member of Lords Cricket Ground.
