Great atmosphere and really good service. My fiancé and I still opted here while visiting from Pittsburgh. And let’s just say wow. From the ambiance to the food. I got the CNG Burger and she got the fish and chips. Honestly can’t go wrong with anything here. Also, perfect cocktails.

My fiancé put me in charge of finding our food stop while visiting Detroit for a concert from Pittsburgh. He’s the foodie and I was going in blind but holy [email protected]! this place was amazing! The service was incredible — the team working was super genuine and you could tell they were passionate about the menu and serving great drinks + food. I got the fish and chips and wOoOoowwowow it was amazing!! He got the C&G Burger and loved it! We also got a chance to try the trio of dips and whaHhhat wow it was incredible!!! The drinks were perfect and honestly I can’t say enough about this place. This experience alone made us want to plan our next trip to Detroit!

Was looking for a unique place with my husband's taste for his 40th birthday, and man did Cork and Gabel deliver. Our party of 12 was absolutely blown away by the atmosphere, appetizers, entrees and overall ambiance. This place moves fast without sacrificing style or flavor. They made his night an awesome one and I couldn't be more thankful and cannot wait to come back!

Finally was able to stop in cool place food was good, drinks were good and our server was awesome! I had the Cajun Alfredo it was good would get something different next time. My husband had a burger and loved it

I’m a BIG fan of the Corktown Area in Detroit. This was my first time at Cork & Gabel and I’m mad that I waited this long. Scanning over what they were serving I loved how the menu was a play on food with and Irish/German edge (was fitting for the area). I loved the Benny and Omelette section as I’m a savory girl myself. We walked in and it was going to be a 45 minute wait BECAUSE it’s popular. We sat at the bar right away instead of a table and had great service and a few laughs with the bartenders. Will definitely be back for brunch and would love to swing by for dinner someday to check it out.

A bit pricey but wonderful food and service. Save the eating for a nice night out, a date night maybe. The drinks are priced normally, cocktails were 11+ and a tall Guinness was $7, well poured. This is definitely a photo worthy venue that knows what it is about...even though my photos aren't the best! I'll be back.

A very unique and cool looking place. Our waiter was great. Watching the staff throughout and all energetic and appeared to be enjoying what they do. The arrived fast and the order was accurate but flavor was just average. Presentation was there but our party of 7 all felt it was not the exciting flavors we had hoped for. It won’t stop us from returning if we are in the area but probably won’t be making a special trip.

Great food and great experience!

I helped open and worked for this restaurant for over a year. When I was hired I was the only black woman foh waitress. I was Discriminated against and treated differently than my white and male coworkers. Particularly by the head chef Matthew McGrail and the other white male management that worked there. Do not eat here!

Amazing service, unique food dishes and pretty views of the train station!
