We absolutely loved this little hit spot. Right on a canal. Outside, or inside. Food and drinks were so good. We had kids, great place for them. Will be back. Loved everything about this place.

I attended a family event upstairs here. The space was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Great views into the treetops and only the sound of birds. It’s the perfect spot for gatherings (ours was a memorial service). The food here is superb. If you’re fussy about the provenance of your ingredients and you only want to eat food you can trust, this is the place. Everything is freshly harvested, masterfully cooked, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Downstairs, the place was packed with contented looking diners. Location is superb, surrounded by water and greenery. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

My family came here for Mother’s Day lunch and while the food tasted good, I don’t think the price was worth it. Two of us are vegetarians and the “hen of the woods” entree was the tiniest single mushroom…at least serve two or three mushrooms since the cost was $60/person. Or make the vegetarian option cost less? Even the lamb sausage was such a small portion. I also feel like for the price they could have done a simple salad course as well. I would maybe come back to try the regular menu but the set menu was not worth the price in my opinion. Also a very weird service model which is borderline self-service. You have to place your order via your personal phone, including checking yourself out. All in all, I just wasn’t very impressed with this place.

Take me back! Coriander Kitchen and Farm has a spectacular menu that changes with the seasonal offerings. Farm fresh produce that you can taste. The drinks were amazing and whatever you order, you will enjoy. We started with the Farm Marg (jalapeno) and La Maravilla to drink and the fish dip appetizer. Dinner was shared between two of us which was the lamb with chickpeas, green tomatoes, and other delicious flavors. The sweet potatoes were so fresh tasting and hit the spot. Coriander is a great place for a date night or meet up with friends and family. You will not be disappointed with the menu and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The outdoor area was neat to see (early Spring, not too much growth going on) and will be in fuller bloom once mother nature cooperates.

Wow what a unique place and location. This is really a hidden gem with unlimited potential. Coriander kitchen is located along a channel with boat access, offers indoor and outdoor seating. We visited during a cooler day so we ate indoors. Can't wait to sit outside. Food items are locally grown and/or sourced. The menu offers some traditional and rather creative combinations. They also offer a full bar. Whether stopping in to have a drink or a bite to eat or both I recommend doing so.

We hosted an AMAZING Engagement Party for our daughter here.100 people! So fun! So delicious. Incredible vibe! Brough in our own fun decor to personalize it.They're super easy to work with and laid back.Loved every minute!Book your next event here.I promise. You'll be so happy you did!

I have eaten here four or five times over the past year or so and each experience has been very, very good. I have tried different things each time and they were all delicious. Our favorite item has been the halloumi cheese, but, again, we have always enjoyed both our food and drinks. When the weather is warm, this place gets very busy, so come early, make a reservation, or just be prepared to take your time enjoying good company (hopefully) and food prepared the right way!

Our first time at Coriander was the NYE Seafood Boil. It was delish!! Wonderful food, amazing people and a relaxed atmosphere made it a perfect start into 2022! I will be back for a lot more hanging out at their beautiful patio right on the canal in Detroit. I wanna try more food and drinks. Very nice owners and great service. Highly recommend this place!

Great drinks, very tasty veggie reuben, great staff and fires and heaters for outdoors with great view including swans

I admire many things about this place. The food is interesting and good. The truly fresh herbs added to the drinks and everything really give it character. When it fully opens it has great potential. Currently it's best in fair weather because it's mainly outdoors. Once you get used to the ordering system it is actually better in my opinion. Also they treat the staff well so it's a good cause to eat here. Nice bonus.
