I was looking for a late-night Coney dog and Lafayette's was super busy. So I decided to randomly stop in to Columbo's. I'm glad I did because I honestly think this is my new Coney spot!
I have been coming here for years and I personally love it! The waitresses are always super nice and always making sure everything is going good
I'm DELLA BALLS husband sh she passed November 9th 2020 she loved the food and VAL the waitress and still like the burgers and fries been going there since it opened it opened
I can not support any restaurant that does not follow the law & denies a disabled person to bring in their service dog. I understand two complaints have been filed against you. It's called the Americans with Disabilities Act. Shame on you.
i went there to enjoy a lunch saturday and victor garcia was very rude. he’s not even a waiter and he some how served me my food. i seen him cough in it and then sneeze in his hands and hand me my plate. he basically threw it at me. he kept calling me a “nigga” because of my skin complexion and told me to go back to the fields.
My family and I was turned away from enjoying breakfast here today because of my husband's service dog. And done so SO RUDELY there was no talking to the rude lady. She put my combat vet husband and our family on the spot and just embarrassed us to the highest point. If you DONT ALLOW SERVICES DOGS you should have that on the business window. My family and I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE. I never liked this place. The health department needs to pay a visit. We shouldn't have to put a star.
Licensed service dog was denied by manager. Turned away service dog and family. Reported to the leashes of Valor and will have this addressed immediately. Others have complained as well. Disrespectful and arrogant. Never will refer or support this establishment. Shameful
As I entered this establishment with my family and Service Dog I was rudely told that there were no dogs allowed. When I tried to explain to the employee that he was my service dog and we could not be denied service because of that I was rudely cut off mid sentence, told that she didn't care that he was a service dog then asked to leave. I did so and made a call. Later on in the day I called and talked to the owner, a gentleman named Nick. I told him about the situation, and to make a long story short let' just say they are clueless about federal law.
I was disappointed the cooks where touching everything then touching food, but most disgusting was when I was looking at a waitress wipe table then get a order from other table then walks to prepare food without watching hands I saw as she grab the salad without cleaning her hands n grab bread then grab dirty rag again and proceed to serve I thought waitress didn't prepare the food only the person that cooks the food .I will never eat at this place. i also return my breakfast.
So I have to be honest… Very unsanitary. I secretly watched as the cook wiped his face while over the grill. No one used gloves or wore masks, as the waitress took my order, grabbed a menu, charged my card, poured coffee, then made my salad and mashed it into the tray with her unwashed bare hands. I was so disgusted, but she was nice, so I took my food and gave a small tip. She also open mouth coughed in the air near the grill. And they didn’t even have what I wanted, but gave me an alternate meal, at the same price. No discount or anything and the it tasted freezer burned. Sorry but this place gets two huge thumbs down from me! Mostly because of the unsanitary practices.
