How can I say this. The drive thru young man was patient and was truthful that the chicken was fresh and hot. I mean hot and crispy, crispy good. I couldn't hold icing in my hand. My okra was fried fresh to order. I'm going bk again. This is my new Churchs location. I'm a skeptic on my food service and quality. I've worked at many church's chicken in my lifetime so I expect no less than when blacks gave church's it reputation of 5he best quality foods.
I’ve never been here but thought I’d try it. It was 7:50 or so in the drive thru, the customer in front of me ordered 8 pieces, then when I pulled up and started to order the guy told me “we don’t have that.” when I asked to confirm he said “we’re closing”. I asked “I thought you close at 9” and he started yelling at me that things can change or something? The English was broken, but it was such needless abusive shouting I didn’t even need to understand. I pulled around to tell the other cars they’re closing, and from what I could see there was a single teenager inside. I hope whoever’s in charge knows he lost at least 4 orders with who was behind me. I’ve never had such a bad experience in food service EVER, I’m definitely not going to try them now.
Employee working the speaker for drive-thru wouldn't even talk to me drove around to the window there was four cars ahead of me all made it and I was wondering why I was sitting there with no communication he said my truck was too big F-250 would not talk to me through the window made me walk in. That employee was very irritated and grumpy another employee help me gave me a bonus tender for my three piece unfortunately open box the tenders look like chicken nuggets well done extra dry with a side of mashed potatoes with gravy the gravy was literally water with brown color.
They ask you to place your order at the window, but will fill your order very quickly!! The staff is professional but friendly.
Didn't get what we ordered. Rudeness, but what we did get was hot and freshly cooked.
Staff was rude, didn't let me finish my order before walking off, when came back, I gave the rest of my and everytime I said a item, he like it that it, I gave my cc card told him my chip was broke, he like he couldn't do it manually, I told I can pay in cash and he got smart, I told him that's ok, I didnt want the food because he was rude
Not the cleanest and or updated place around however it is one of the first Church's chickens in Detroit, I went there as a kid over 45 years ago.
Cashier was kind an thoughtful. The food was hot an fresh. The service was outstanding.
