It was my first time trying Caribbean food I have the curry goat with the rice and beans cornbread and salad. The curry goat was so tender it fell off the bone. The cornbread tasted like jiffy mix which I like, I have to try other things and let you know but I did try they plantos I think I pronounced it right it's like a fried banana, it was delicious.
I love their Oxtails & Jerk Chicken Dinners, Fried Dumplings, Canbage & Greens I stay way on the other side of the town but I will travel at least twice out the week to go there that's how much I love their food ??
It not well done cook and different tasty. Also gave me few meats. I do not want waste my money for come back again. Their food taste is not same from my home New York.
Every time I go back to Detroit, this is one of my "have to" places. Small but never lacking for true Caribbean taste. Curry chicken, curry goat, ox tails, just to name a few of their tasty items on the menu.
I got some curry goat , mixed vegetables and rice and peas. Curry goat so good and tender‼️ Rice and peas bomb ? and the vegetables taste like can veggies but my first time visiting and I was on lunch. Definitely very satisfied ??? so good ‼️
Thought this would be a nice restaurant but I was wrong. The food was terrible and the place smelled so bad like feet and corn chips, do not go here guys
Under seasoned. I had to fix the flavor when I got home. But the curry goat was very tender. Staff is nice . I'll try again in a few weeks hopefully it will be better!!!
Had the best curry goat soup there yesterday! It's normally pretty good but yesterday's was extremely good. Whatever you did differently keep doing it
The left photo is Curry Chicken with red beans, cabbage and the right photo is cow foot with red beans and cabbage. Excellent portions for the price, food was hot, and we waited 10-15 minutes. Not bad at all. The food was a bit flavorless for Jamaican cuisine.
This food was absolutely amazing I will be going back I drove 45 minutes for these oxtails.... ❤️❤️
