Service was nice chicken head no taste
My experience at Captain Jays was not good. The chicken wings were small and extremely greasy and saturated with oil. A cashier, after playing with her, which was long and not secured under a hat or chef's head covering, finalized my order of chicken wings. Thankfully, there was not any hair in my order. Without asking she attempted to put lemon pepper on my order. I told her not to. My sales receipt said Indiapolis, Indiana, instead of Detroit, Michigan. This is not the first time that I have received poor service and poor food quality.
The counter people are great. But, the food. No regular flavor, so they want to put flavor powders on it.
I come from Ann Arbor Michigan to get captain jays I get my combo Fish chicken and fries and when I look at me and my woman food it was not cook all the way they to high to Al so I wasted my time and money Also gas on them I’ll never go back there again it’s sad
Food has no seasoning, but it wash fresh.
First-time visiting this establishment. Week day around noon, I assume the one other person in the restaurant was a customer. 2 ppl behind the counter. No customer service, they totally ignored me. Not one word was said, just attitude. Of course, I did not place an order.
Delicious food GREAT STAFF and they have Kool Aide!!!! We came to Detroit for the football game and this is where we decided to eat... LOVED IT ?
This CAPTAIN JAY'S IS THE WORST EVER. THE FOOD IS NOT COOKED DONE OR IT IS TOOOO DONE AND NOT FRESH AT ALL. THE PLACE SMELLS HORRIBLE AND THE EMPLOYEES LOOK JUST AS BAD. I WILL NO LONGER EAT THERE OR ORDER ANYTHING FROM THERE. I WILL TAKE MY CHANCES EATING A RAW CHICKEN ? THAN TO EAT THERE. I HAVE ALSO TOLD ALL OF MY FRIENDS TO NOT PATRONIZE THAT PLACE ON WARREN AND ST. ANTOINE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE OR KILL SOMEONE ELSE WHO YOU DON'T LIKE.
Do not waste your time or money. Never ever again. Rancid fish and chicken. 1 hour and 40 minutes to deliver. I threw away $61.00.Figuratively and literally.
This is the worst place I've ever seen it's nasty in the building the employees fry your food serve your food in a container without mask. I didn't appreciate my food being served to me open container they're breathing all over your food refuse to give me my money back places nasty it's filthy and the employees attitude it's nasty as well the manager and the front counter girl
