Came here for the first time with a group of friends. We just came from Batch Brewery which is within walking distance.We played shuffleboard and had drinks. It was a great time. This is place I would highly recommend if you’re looking to go out and just have a good time. The Yumtown is a Cherry-Limeade Lager and I would highly recommend that one. It was the only thing I was drinking because of the amazing taste. They also have a pool table and a large bar with a lot of seats. I would recommend Brew Detroit if you’re looking for a good time with friends over some great beer!
One of my frequent summer beer spots. Fairly inexpensive for above-average beer. Huge indoor and outdoor spaces so you don’t feel crowded. I’m always surprised that they aren’t busier every time I’m here, but also grateful for the chill vibe since so many other corktown spots are so loud and it takes a long time to get service. Beertenders here have always been cool. Sometimes they’ll have a pop up restaurant, but otherwise no food is served. Bathroom is also always clean when I’m here. No bike racks to lock your bike up, but I’ve seen a few people bring them inside, or you can leave them on the patio or lock them up to the metal fence just east of the building.
The taproom has a great atmosphere with lots of games too choose from. The bartenders know the beers very well and can guide you toward the right drink for you. They have a large variety on tap.

Good variety of beers usually. Good lagers and IPAs. Nice stouts. Really good barrel aged stouts and barleywine, when they're on. Great brewery

We just had our wedding reception here and I cannot say how much fun we had. Mike, Kevin, Ramone just all around amazing people. Kevin is an all around dude and blew us away with how understanding he is. I will forever be a customer and will recommend anyone to have an event here!
